Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Texas

We have been going to Roxie Point for years, and we enjoy our stay thoroughly every time. We'll keep going back to spend some time in nature, enjoying the lake and generally relaxing. We look forward to the next time. :)

We had a great time. The house was the perfect size for us. The view of the lake was very beautiful. Sandy was amazing to work with and answered all of our questions about the area and places to eat.

Absolutely loved our stay at this Fredericksburg Airbnb! The place was spotless, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. The warm pool was such a treat — perfect for relaxing any time of day. It felt completely private, like our own little retreat, yet it was just 10 minutes from town. Everything about it was serene and inviting. Would 100% come back again!

We absolutely loved staying a this beautiful little cabin. we stayed here for 7 days and Lacey accommodated an earlier check-in. She was very responsive. The house was very clean. We would absolutely stay here again!

“Epic stay” doesn’t even scratch the surface. The Perch is hands-down one of the most unforgettable places I’ve ever stayed. Totally off-grid, but with all the comfort, intention, and style you’d want. The architecture is stunning, the views are endless, and everything was spotless and spacious. Conserving energy and water here wasn’t just part of the experience—it was a fun and meaningful challenge for our family, reminding us how little we really need to live well. The outdoor deck is perfectly placed, shielded from the harsh sun making it ideal for relaxing from mid-afternoon through stargazing hours. And oh, the stars…they go on forever. I drove a Mazda CX-50 with off-road Mi-Drive and had no issues with the drive up (steepest grade is around 15°). This is a core-memory kind of place. Quiet, soulful, and unforgettable. If you’re headed to Terlingua, don’t skip The Perch—I truly believe it’s the best stay in the area.

Tamara and Robert have a great cabin in a beautiful wooded area by a lake. They were friendly and attentive but also gave you your privacy and space. The feeling of the cabin and grounds is welcoming, comfortable, relaxing and happy. It had everything that you needed; like a home away from home. Also, if anyone reading this remembers the fun and innocent family vacation days by the lake back in the late 80’s through late 90’s, this place gives you the same vibe. I highly recommend the Mini Metal Moonshine Mansion!

I truly can’t say enough great things about the location and about our hosts! First, the home was ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! The views of the hill country from the bedroom and the back porch are BREATHTAKING! It was a dream location for our getaway wedding and I can’t be more thankful! Arielle was so kind and very helpful with recommendations! We really can’t wait to come back as soon as we can! I would recommend this to everyone, but I really want to be selfish and keep this gem hidden to myself ❤️

BEAUTIFUL location and home!!! Extremely picturesque, feels secluded and private, the bathroom is gorgeous, all the amenities are perfect and George and Kim were amazing hosts, went above and beyond to make sure we were extremely comfortable and had a great vacation.

I can’t say enough about this place. Literally fell in love with it. Super clean, location couldn’t have been anymore perfect. This was a last minute choice and was the best decision. The hosts were extremely nice and responsive. The recommendations for sights and food are something I will definitely be back for. I literally felt at home. The bed was so comfy! If you’re thinking about booking just do it you won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I stayed at Richie's place for six nights, and I can confidently say we would definitely stay there again! The location felt safe and was very walkable to many local eateries, including the Pearl District. The Riverwalk is literally right outside the building. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and the area, which made our visit to San Antonio even more enjoyable.

This is such a beautiful apartment building. It’s super clean and modern, and definitely comfortable. I loved my room and stayed here for 4 nights. During my stay I made most of the apartment amenities and bars and restaurants; all within a 10-15min Uber ride away. Shout out to Ryan from the reception desk who’s a lovely bloke – really appreciated his hospitality and friendly vibes. I throughly enjoyed my stay here and would happily stay again. I’d recommend to anyone staying here if they want comfort and convenience. My only slight negative is the road noise from the highway, even at a high floor level it’s still noticeable in the early hours. But then again, I am a light sleeper.

Absolutely a gem!!!!! LOCATION!!!LOCATION!!! LOCATION!!! The Zen Den was so adorable, perfect for a couples getaway. Very well put together and the aesthetic was just fabulous. If you're looking for a quiet, clean, comfortable, relaxing, central location place. The Zen Den it is. You will not regret your stay. We truly enjoyed our stay and loved that we were less than 10min to everything. Especially a skip and hop away from one of our favorite, Gaido's restaurant. Definitely will book again. Thank you Valerie for sharing your lovely home and making our stay stress free.

Our stay was so peaceful and pleasant! The homemade Greek cookies were the icing on the cake! Short drive to downtown, minimal street traffic and the cowboy tub was the perfect temp for an evening hangout! Will stay again!

Loved this place! It was very quiet and nice beautiful outdoor area to go relax customer service is very helpful and awesome and lots to do around the area. Definitely would recommend it!

We had a great time at Darren’s property. It is the perfect place to unplug and unwind. There are beautiful views all around the cabin and it is very cozy. We even got engaged here! We recommend checking out the state park near here as well as the crazy water hotel. Thank you Darren!!

If you’re looking for a place to sit back and relax, this is it. Grab yourself a book and a drink and sit on the patio and enjoy the view. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends! Enjoyed the stay!

The ranch was amazing. The animals were free roaming and visited our cabin often. Our family had an absolute blast feeding and petting them. This was an amazing experience and we have already booked our return trip. Myra took us around the ranch to make sure we were able to see all of the animals up close. If you are an animal lover I highly recommend. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Close to town but very private area. Host was so friendly and responsive.

this was a beautiful cabin with beautiful scenery. Susan (the host) had everything labeled and organized which made finding things very very easy and even had a sheet of things such as grocery stores and things to do in the area! will definitely book here again!

What can I say by far the best bnb we have ever stayed in. The bed was comfy. The jacuzzi was amazing.. Every morning we enjoyed a good seat on the patio drinking our coffee and bird watching. We were visited by the doggies and rabbits. And we enjoyed going to see the horses. We so needed to disconnect-WiFi and TV no problem. We had planned to eat at restaurants but turned out we bought the food to eat there and just stayed in enjoying every moment. We didn't want to leave. Lora is kind and friendly. We got a brief chance to chat with her as we were leaving. We are already planning our next stay for September Thanks Lora and Clark for making our 40th wedding anniversary stay at the Little Green a time to remember.

We had an awesome time staying at Alina’s cabin! Great getaway, truly out in nature without having to go too far.

The experience at this cabin was outstanding! Several amenities are included and this is a great spot for a getaway from the city. It's a cozy cabin for any time of the year.
