There are super hosts - then there are extraordinary hosts like Henry and Lykke. They made us feel like honored family friends from the moment we met them. Our room was super comfortable, and it was made all the better by the friendly smiles and stories from our hosts who are life-long residents of the area. Their well-maintained common areas like the beautiful back deck area overlooking the river made us love Stratford all the more. Free, safe parking was great as their location was perfect for walking everywhere and we didn't even need the car. The breakfast provided was delicious and varied with many great choices - including lovely scrambled eggs! This was the perfect spot for my sister's 50th birthday weekend enjoying Stratford and I would HIGHLY recommend these amazing hosts for every visit to the area.

Black Bear Inn is a great affordable place to stay near Lake Michigan. Our room was very clean & cozy. Having a full kitchen to cook in made our stay all the more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay so much! The house was very quiet and clean. The area is really beautiful and the lake is great for kayaking. Darren and Nadene are wonderful. We felt right at home! They gave us lots of tips and Nadene makes a great breakfast! A big recommendation! One of our favorite stops on our trip. We will keep it in good memory and would come back any time! 🌞

Had a work trip in Grand Marais and brought along my wife and our baby. This place was great!! Definitely will be coming back. Very clean and great location. Highly recommend staying here compared to the other places.

Really enjoyed staying here! Wish I could have stayed longer….it was very comfy. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was so nice…multi jet shower and jet bathtub…was able to enjoy both. So relaxing! Chelsea was extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely rent the space again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay.

It was very quiet. I loved it. Big room nicely furnished. Had a small fridge. The property had a pool, hot tub, exercise room, laundry, outdoor seating, and a bistro. We would stay again

First and foremost, Megan was wonderful … quick responses to ANY question I had. Requested a midnight check in; was handled with no issues and specific directions on everything so there was no guesswork after driving 7 hours. Simple place in a motel setting; my only caution is that the stairs are steep, so be careful.

Wonderful place to stay if you’re trying to be close to the airport. Rooms have kitchens and the hotel has a ton of great amenities, such as a breakfast, gym, pool and airport shuttle. The airport shuttle had a bit of confusion initially but it comes every 30 minutes so make sure you go early.

A great renovated place to stay at while in New Glarus. Picnic area and coffee shop on site. Self service check in and amenities. Host is thoughtful and responsive. Don’t let the motel exterior fool you.

This place was just what we needed for our last minute Memorial Day weekend getaway. It was very cute and comfortable with intentional details. The walls are a bit thin, but they provide box fans that completely drown out the noise. We slept great! We would stay there again!

Such a great place to stay. extremely clean. we went to the bridges bar right by the bnb and the drinks and food were so good! the employees were very nice as well. easy to walk to the beach and main town too..one of the best bnbs!

Host was very helpful and responsive. Friendly gas station/store across the street. Though the address says Harbor springs it is a little bit further north... Beautiful area.
