We came up for the Garth Brooks concert and stayed in David & Ann’s RV. Ann met us and had the RV ready, chairs, table and a cooler setup and ready for us. It was only a 5 minute walk to the stadium. It’s the perfect setup for tailgating and attending an event.

Such a nice quiet spot! The area had multiple campers and spaces rented out but it felt like we were alone, that’s how well it was spaced out and set up. Kid friendly and very easy to relax. Will definitely be back!

Super easy to get to and very quiet. Would like a lower price option since there is no electric or water, but was convenient for what we needed. Great little spot!

Very nice place to stay, The hosts were very polite and made sure everything was perfectly well in tact. They also surprised me with a map of all parks in the county which was totally awesome. Recommend staying at their lodge 10/10. Beautiful scenery and If you’re into the outdoors/ riding / there’s endless fun out there. My wife and I Will be visiting there again in the future.

POV was peaceful and beautiful. We went during mid October and the trees were stunning in the campground. It felt like we stepped back in time staying in the vintage camper. The Jim Dandy was perfect for a couples getaway ❤ Host were very accommodating and reached out to us first any time we could have had any questions. The rec room was fun to be able to hang out in and the view of lake was perfect. Will be coming back with the kids in summer!

We had a great time. It was a fun adventure to stay in an Airstream RV. We loved the location; it was just minutes from the beach and had great hiking trails.

Great stay, a very cozy place!

The place was great. Swimming was difficult; slippery rocks for days (not literally). Brought something to float out to deeper water; much easier.

If you are looking for a peaceful camping experience this is the place to stay. Beautiful surrounding and pool, pickleball court to play a game or too all that is very close to the camper. If we are ever in the area again we will be sure to book this again.

We loved the camping "feel" without the campground noise and chaos. It was a quiet getaway and close to good hiking trails and the lake towns.

One of my favorite places I have stayed with my dogs. They loved being able to go off leash on the property and meeting the animals was so fun. The camper is set away from the main house behind a barn and has a really cozy outdoor area so you feel like you have your own space. Lots of fun stuff to do on the property like walking/taking the trails, grilling, having a fire, playing with the animals, and just relaxing. The camper is well appointed and the main bed is super comfortable and full sized, could probably accommodate people up to 6’ tall. Sarah and her husband Daniel were warm and welcoming and super friendly/chill. It was so peaceful!

Katrina and her husband were top notch hosts - very kind, friendly, and importantly, responsive and communicative. The mini-fridge was pretty sizable for a mini fridge and kept things 100% cool. We loved having the camping/beach chairs and the sand toys available and definitely made use of them. I have back issues galore and was worried the mattress was going to lead to problems for me, but in the end it was actually just fine! If you're a light sleeper used to the dark, bring a sleep mask - the curtains aren't see through but aren't blackout, and the bus is obviously covered in windows. The AC worked, but I have crazy allergies and it's an old old unit - so bring your Zyrtec! We ended up using my mini fan in the windows to keep things cool bc the AC was cool but too stuffy for me. No fault to the owners, just a heads up to allergy prone folks. A GREAT stay, super fun, and we were well cared for by the hosts :)

To say the least , extremely beautiful layout. Private, cozy, extremely peaceful. Chad was very inviting and would reach out for any additional needs during my stay. I highly recommend if you are in need of a peace of bliss, stay here.

It was a more than wonderful stay! The privacy and beauty of the location is almost understated. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Our host Nina was extremely responsive and very nice! All in all a perfect experience.

We stayed at the Stillwater Cottages over the thanksgiving long weekend and the location and tiny house are just perfect. Amazing place if you are looking for some peace and quiet and want to be close to nature. We absolutely loved it! Thanks so much.

The location was absolutely amazing. It was incredibly peaceful, thoughtfully set up, and surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. After a long trip, being able to relax in the sauna was a truly special experience and one that I would highly recommend to anyone. The space itself is stunning, with plenty of land to wander and explore. There are fruit trees throughout the property, along with an abundance of nature that makes the whole setting feel calm and rejuvenating. What really made the stay exceptional were the hosts. They were not only welcoming and kind, but they also went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. Their attention to detail and care made me feel completely at home and turned this stay into one of the true highlights of my entire trip.

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the company of Robert and the goats. The property is a quick drive to multiple beaches (we liked Barnes park best, go early for shade and one of the few available beachside parking spaces. The store is a walkable distance. We found the airstream to be temperate all day and even cool enough to require a sweater at night. Great experience "glamping" with my 12 yo who would "definitely!!!" return. We enjoyed using the grill outside. Thanks for a great stay!

Really nice and cozy villa, loved the area and the atmosphere of it all. Really nice for a little getaway and would definitely come back.

We absolutely LOVED the Holly Hideaway! This was our second time staying at one of Heidi and Darren’s places and it was just as incredible as the A frame (maybe even better suited to our needs) The space is just so cool, very private, and there’s so much to do that it’s hard to leave. We enjoyed playing endless music on the record player (we brought our own records too), used the hot tub, bikes, fire pit, played multiple games of pool and Pac-Man, and the teens lounged in the camper (awesome add on) and all around the space. The kitchen is so well equipped with everything you need and we ate in quite a bit. This is the perfect space to rent! So close to Pine Knob (we were in for a concert) and close to darling downtown Holly. We enjoyed iced coffees and ice cream in Battle Alley. Also, be sure to drop by the owner’s restaurant- it is fabulous! You’ll see their same style represented there and the food is delicious! Can’t wait to stay again next year! LOVED this place! We loved, loved our stay at Cheryl's! What a magical place. Our party included 3 adults and 2 children (9 and 11). It was perfect for our cousins weekend. The RV was a newer model, was spotless, ultra comfortable and perfect for our group. The king sized bed was so comfy and the kids loved the bunk beds. The best part was that it overlooked the alpaca, cow, chicken and goat pens. Cheryl and her family were such great hosts. The kids got to help with chores and interact closely with all the animals and learn about caring for them. We also took a tour of the farm with Cheryl and all got to feed and pet the goats, piglets, and horse. The farm was nicely laid out and well cared for. The kids had fun riding their bikes around and spent time at the park area. Cheryl's youngest daughter kept the kids busy taking them to pet the baby bunnies and playing together. It was a weekend none of us will ever forget.

My husband and I decided to go up north for the weekend for a quick birthday getaway/fall color trip. Most lodging, both in Grayling and surrounding areas, were fully booked, including our normal spots, but thankfully we found Sara’s place, which will now be added to our list of go to places to stay while in the area! The place was easy to find, exactly as described, clean, and overall really cozy. Sara is quick to respond (no issues, just a quick question) and the addition of a couple fresh pastries upon our arrival was a nice surprise! We especially enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and relaxing during the evening. We wish we could have stayed longer, but we definitely plan on returning in the near future hopefully to enjoy a longer stay. Highly recommend!!
