Holiday rentals with lake access in Thunder Bay, Unorganized

Absolutely gorgeous location and super clean home! Well stocked with basics and comfortable inside and out. Many chairs to choose from outside. Bug spray and umbrellas available. We loved sitting on the deck by the lake when the weather was nice. Incredibly peaceful! We heard loons, geese and that's about it. No traffic/train sounds - very quiet! Loved it! Beds/pillows/towels were comfy, as was the sofa. Monica left us a package of pancake mix and everything we needed to make it. So thoughtful and delicious! Couple things to mention - bring slippers the floors are cold and there are no rugs. Also, there is no tv, but there are some dvds in a cabinet for when there is inclimate weather. We were able to get online more than half the time. (T-Mobile). The bathtub is a tall soaker, but a bit harder to get into and very slippery on the bottom. There is nowhere to eat/buy groceries nearby. The closest ones we found were in Thunder Bay 45 min up the road. A very nice place!

Paul’s place was perfect for our family’s stay for graduation weekend. It offered plenty of space, convenient to campus and best of all, the perfect grad pic opportunity on the deck with views of campus.

Viewpoint was enchantingly perfect for our family of four for a long weekend. Our children (6 and 2) were fascinated by the records and CDs, and we had dance parties every afternoon. The bedrooms and game room were perfect for them - table and chairs for coloring, board games and Twister, and a guitar for my husband to entertain them with. The outdoor table served as a perfect stage for their musical performances, and we all loved sitting on the Adirondack chairs on the porch. The grown ups loved the beautiful mug collection, proximity to Fika, easy access to Grand Marais, and the view. I have never felt more at peace than we did at the Virwpoint. Had a wonderful time and the accommodations were great. Cabin had everything we needed and more, was perfect for our fishing trip! Will definitely stay again, the host Sherry and Bob are super nice people.

We had absolutely everything anyone could possibly need at our fingertips and we would stay here again in a heart beat. We wanted a quiet mini family get away for the long Memorial Day weekend and this place did not disappoint! We all felt right at home and appreciated the cleanliness and location. The beach was beautiful and serene, kitchen was well stocked with every kind of kitchen tool you could imagine. All linens were very clean and good quality!

We had a wonderful stay at Cheryl’s place. It had everything we could wish for, including great weather! Cheryl went out of her way to accommodate my special request for a DVD player so I could show my family a special film. The place is in a lovely setting and is even better than the photos depict. We really enjoyed the outdoor space and enclosed porch. I highly recommend!

This was our second time staying at Adam & Malorey's airbnb. Everything was clean and well stocked. The new deck looks great.

Communication with the hosts was smooth and fast before and during the stay. The studio was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the patio area, and reading by the fireplace in the evenings. It was so nice to relax on the lakeshore, and it was easy to walk to restaurants and shops nearby. I would def stay here again!

MaryKate was very welcoming when we arrived. Super friendly! The surroundings were beautiful with a perfect view of the lake from the front windows. Walking distance to the North Folk School campus and good restaurants. I would highly recommend a stay there.

What a great place to stay for a weekend in Houghton! The unit is spectacular. We will definitely stay again on our next visit.

Loved our stay at Cedar's Seaside Chalet. Everything was exactly as described. The view of Lake Superior was spectacular. Loved falling asleep with the window cracked listening to the waves. Our son really enjoyed the sleeping loft with the skylight and video game. We were in Lutsen to support a friend running a 50K ultra marathon, so we didn't spend a ton of time in the condo, but when we did it was super relaxing and we crashed hard! Will definitely be back again!

Very cute basement apartment. It was clean and spacious. We like the area that it is in - close to restaurants, cafes, and small shops.

I’m not sure where to begin.. It was a beautiful stay and a memorable few days spent at the cottage. My kids and I even got to enjoy a magical show put on by the northern lights above the shining Gitche Gumee last night! We had everything we needed and appreciated all of the little touches and amenities. We loved the retro feel and style of the place as well as the location and privacy. We will definitely be back! Really enjoyed staying at Janine's place. Cozy cabin that slept 3 single guys comfortably. Great views of Lac La Belle. Extremely close to Mt Bohemia where we went for skiing and the spa. Great experience all around!

This is a very spacious one bedroom place to stay. I really liked the size of the deck. Very comfortable furniture and bed. Every thing was very clean. I was there for a quick weekend trip to ride mtn bikes and being right in Copper Harbor allows you to park and not have to get in your vehicle again with the trails, shops, and restaurants all within a few blocks. Same and Shelby were attentive hosts. I hope to stay here again soon.

My friend and I stayed here for two nights on our roadtrip out from Vancouver to Toronto, and it was a gorgeous place. We loved the cottage, the views were incredible, and we felt as cozy as can be. Our hosts were extremely helpful, and were very responsive. If you’re looking for a place to relax, feel connected to the outdoors, and want a place to curl up with a great book while looking across to Sleeping Giant - this is your spot!!

We loved this home!! Enjoyed sitting down by the dock and relaxing. Home is super comfy and beds are comfortable. Many amenities in the property. Loved the peacefulness of this home and Jen was very responsive and helpful. Great communication.

What a wonderful place to get away and recharge! We have 3 kids and manage a business in Traverse City. That said we are always on the go. Staying at Little Betsy really help my partner and I focus on eachother and reconnect! Even though the weather wasn’t the greatest, we had moments or clear skies and got to really enjoy the view from the cabin. We hiked Hungarian Falls which is only 30 minutes away and ate at Loading Zone ||. Food was wonderful and so where the people! 110% recommend! We are excited to make future plans to come back! Thank you for letting us stay!

Comfortable & homey cabin with an amazing view. Peaceful & private. Furniture was comfortable & kitchen was well stocked. Bathroom was clean. Shower head was low, but there was great water pressure & plenty of hot water. Close to town if you want to venture out. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Definetely felt like home… had everything you might need or want… for a short stay or a long stay. The king bed was awesome… so comfortable and cosy. Great little find in a fantastic little town with so much to offer!
