Fantastic view of Gaustatoppen. The unique thing about this cabin is that it is not located in a cabin area, there is nature and tranquility and birds singing as the closest neighbors. The cross-country trails start right at the parking lot, and from there it is about 300 meters to the alpine facility. Note: It is a distance to walk from the parking lot up to the cabin, 150 meters in the summer/250 meters in the winter, it is steep the first part, so it does NOT fit if you have bad legs. Approx. 1.5 km to Gaustablikk mountain hotel.

Cozy 1850 Firehouse/Back House The cabin has been converted to an annex/small cabin where there is one room with a double bed. Dining nook inside. Outdoor kitchen with fridge, and gas hob. BBQ. Bathroom in the neighboring building. Duvet and pillow are in the cabin. Bed linens are included in the rental price. It is a short distance to the mountain, Tinnsjøen, bike rides and hikes in the nearby area. During summertime you can swim and fish in the river just below. The tourist commune offers varied experiences and activities for everyone.

Rented to adults and responsible. Parties are not allowed. We only accept guests with previous positive reviews from other hosts. Fire pan available for our guests. Large nice vertically shared cabin with great location and high standard. The cabin is located right next to the slalom hill and close to cross-country trails in winter. In summertime there are countless hiking opportunities and if you are interested in fishing there are many good options in the area. Gaustattoppen is a very popular top tour and is located right nearby. Great location with direct access to the Alpine and cross country trails. View of Gaustatoppen (1883 m above sea level) and Rjukan valley. Great hiking terrain, more fishing waters nearby, short road to Gausta track to get to Gausta peak. Krossobanen is located at the end of Rjukandalen and here starts Hardangervidda with many great bike paths. The cabin is suitable for families who want a mountain trip with cottage cow. It is rented to adults over 25 who treat the cottage as their own. No attachment.
