The house is located less than 1 hour's drive to: Bø with summerland and climbing park Kongsberg with Silver Mines and Alpine Center/Ski Center Rjukan with world heritage, water park, climbing park and Gaustablikk with alpine and cross-country skiing Gaustatoppen, Lifjell and Blefjell To Notodden with Blues Festival, Stavkirka, Telemark Gallery and the World Heritage it is about 30 min drive. You just have to pick and choose from experiences and trips or enjoy quiet days and the good life in the countryside.

Unique sandy beach and groomed ski slopes a short drive away as well as spectacular hiking opportunities just outside the door make this a fantastic holiday destination summer and winter. The cabin has 8 beds, 7 adults and 1 child spread over 2 bedrooms and a large loft. The cabin is located on an old Norwegian farm and has its own parking and electric car charging.

The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just enough space for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent e-bikes, stroll down to the climbing park or explore the local area.

The Fairytale

Stay in a traditionally storehouse at a Norwegian farm at Noresund, 100 km and 90 minutes drive from Oslo. Two hours and 155 km drive from Oslo Airport Gardermoen (OSL). This is in the heart of the Norwegian fairytale tradition. It is about 450 meters from the lake and 8 minutes drive from the ski slopes of Norefjell. The high mountains of Norway starts here. The trolls are in the woods just behind the cabin. They are all nice. We recomend that you have a car avaliable.

A lovely, relaxing holiday in the mountains. Perfekt for x-country skiing and hiking. Great for trips to Gaustatoppen, named the most beautiful mountain in Norway. Three bedrooms. A large, cozy fire place in the living room, and a large terrace for cold beverages and hot cocoa in the sun after some outdoor fun. A nice walk from Tuddal Høyfjellshotel with a great cafe and restaurant. Close to lake perfekt for swimming on hot days.
