Holiday rentals with breakfast in Tobermory

My husband and I stayed at Katherine (Nonie) and her husband Armand’s beautiful bed & breakfast for our 1 year wedding anniversary and what a lovely decision we made! It was our first time at a bed and breakfast and we felt right at home. Our check in process was easy, we were greeted with a tour of the house and instructions for our stay. The entire house was absolutely stunning. I love all the salt lamps and the way the ambiance of the lighting at night. The eggs, bacon & gluten free muffins were so good. The bacon Armand specially made was to die for! The home is nestled in beautiful outdoor nature, with a pool and hot tub. The views of the mountains are gorgeous. They are 15 minutes from Blue Mountain Village. We have no complaints. Nonie and Armand were both wonderful people and so kind to open up their house for others to enjoy. 10/10 stay and would recommend!

Our group of three couples stayed with Nonie and Armand for a little staycation, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. As fellow Airbnb hosts, it was a delight to be on the receiving end of such exceptional hospitality. Nonie and Armond truly go above and beyond to ensure their guests feel welcome and cared for. Although it rained for much of our stay, having the covered outdoor gazebo allowed us to continue enjoying the peaceful surroundings. You can tell how much thought and love goes into their home, making it a special place. The photos simply don’t capture how amazing it truly is. Our group frequently rents Airbnbs, and while we were initially hesitant about this type of stay, we are so glad we chose it. Nonie and Armand are wonderful people who made us feel right at home. We wholeheartedly recommend their place for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Our stay with Barry was excellent. The location was amazing, the property was clean and cozy, and the home-cooked breakfasts were great. Barry was a kind and incredibly knowledgable host, with great recommendations (and maps!) for nearby hikes, activities, and restaurants. The location made it a great getaway from the city -- it was very quiet, and at night there is next to no light pollution. Although we had overcast skies on our nights here, we certainly would have been able to do stargazing just by driving a few minutes down the road. This is a great place to stay if you're interested in the nearby hiking trails (e.g. Lion's Head Lookout, Bruce Peninsula National Park, Devil's Monument, etc.). Even if you're simply looking for a nice getaway from the city, I would highly recommend staying at the Lofty heights BnB. Small note: since cell service is quite spotty, we recommend downloading road maps and/or trail maps prior to visiting, although if you forget, Barry had plenty of maps to help plan excursions.

Our group had an amazing stay at Tapan’s place. It was clean, spacious and stocked with all the amenities we could think of. It was more than enough space for our group of 10. Bedrooms were good size and had the convenience of full bathrooms in two of them while the other two rooms shared one with dual sinks. Location was also very convenient, as it was close to the beach (10 min) and other big market stores. Tapan was very responsive and attentive to any questions or inquiries we had. Instructions provided were clear and easy to follow. Everything was ready when we arrived. Will definitely book again when we’re in the area!

We had a wonderful time at the Cardinal Roost! This was my partner and I's first bed and breakfast- and it was beautiful and homey ! 10/10. Katherine (Nonie) and Armand were both very friendly and considerate. It was nice chatting with them about many topics - and they really made us feel at home. The breakfast we had (eggs and bacon) was soo delicious - the king bed was so comfy (the bedsheets were incredibly soft) and the entire home was clean & spotless. We only spent one night, and only briefly saw the other returning guests. The house was very spacious and we had lots of privacy as well. The hottub was so relaxing - the downstairs tv room with pool table was warm and inviting. The location was great! Roughly a 20 min drive to Blue Mountain Village and Creemore Springs. We would definitely come back in the summer to use the pool and stay longer. The vibe was so relaxing and peaceful (just what we needed) and we have already recommended this bed & breakfast to our family & friends

Kathleen was an absolutely charming host. We slept like stones and had a delicious breakfast with quality local and/or organic produce as well as home made sour dough bread.

Great place, loads of space, old historic house tastefully decorated and renovated. Had the feel of a real house. Great kitchen and bbq. Great huge and private garden. Musical kids enjoyed the piano! Nice location for walking to the restaurants on the Port Elgin "main strip". Easy drive down to beach, or a nice walk down in the evening. Friendly and communicative host. Great value for our stay with our family and the grandparents, was a great home base for exploring Port Elgin

The outstanding features of this traditional, authentic home are the warmth of the welcome and great breakfasts. Furnishings and decor seek to capture the history of the owner’s home in a peaceful residential street of more modern homes. Stayner is a quiet town. There is a good local value for money local pub providing food but it is not open every night so it is necessary to travel by car to neighbouring towns on the nights it is not open.

Great location with flexible check-in and parking! Close to the harbour and groceries as well (walkable distance away). If there was just one thing, its a bit of a smaller space (but more than enough for a single person), so make sure you're comfortable sharing if you have a second guest!

This is my 5th time staying at the Friendly Owl! Teresa and Sahand have such a wonderful little haven in Lions Head. Excellent breakfasts, a comfortable bed and a large outdoor space with hammocks and a fire pit. Less than a ten minute drive to the Lions Heads loop trail head. Always a pleasure to come back!

What an amazing weekend. Suzanne was an outstanding hostess. She always made sure we felt at home and had everything we needed to enjoy our time. Suzanne shared great local attractions to check out and always made sure we left for our adventures with a warm snack for the road. I’ll be sure to come back.

Was a perfect place that felt safe for my daughter and I to stay at. I liked the other guests being near but still had enough privacy. The restaurant was super handy and the breakfast was outstanding (and included free in the stay price). Highly recommend.

Lovely place to stay with great interior design elements and a very comfy bed. Loved the big soaker tub and the breakfast was thoughtfully prepared around some allergies. Very short walk to the Main Street…..can’t beat the location!

Peter was a wonderful host. Very friendly, and he knew all the things to do in Tobermory. We went during a non busy season so it was a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The area was beautiful and had some cute shops to explore. Would definitely go again

Our stay with Elaine and Markus was truly wonderful! They were so welcoming, kind and generous. We could not have asked for a better experience in their most incredible home! Heading about the creation of this special, unique property added an extra touch, along with the most wonderful home baked goods for breakfast! We will definitely be back next time we visit Canada and cannot recommend the property and hosts enough!

I had a great stay. This is like an old school bed-and-breakfast where your host actually makes you breakfast! At first, I was a little nervous about having a shared bathroom, however, it is very clean and I never had to wait to use it. I enjoyed conversations with Micha and other guests in the morning over breakfast. Very close to downtown Owen Sound!
