The cabin is warm and cozy, sunny, wood burner & heat pump. location is nestled between Grandview and Lake Hāwea station. We have no light pollution making for incredible stargazing.

The Little Red School House Bed & Breakfast

Get back to nature and enjoy the peace and quiet of our country getaway in the historic "Little Red School House", just 30 minutes inland from Oamaru. Our B & B is located on our 940 hectare family farm which we run sheep and beef cattle on. The farm is situated over 400m above sea level so has panoramic country views. The country location is the perfect place to relax, star gaze, enjoy the scenery, birdsong & farm sounds. It’s a great base to explore Oamaru & the Waitaki area.
