From the second half of August to September, after the bustle of summer, you can enjoy the slightly calmer atmosphere of Shinshu. During the day, head to the mountains and highlands, and at night, enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. This is a private cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and the starry sky. It is recommended not only for those who want to spend a relaxing time in Azumino, but also as a base for sightseeing in Kamikochi and Hakuba, for stays of one night or more. Convenient access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe. We also accommodate group trips, family trips, and long-term stays. There is a washing machine and a dryer in the bathroom, so you can stay comfortably for multiple nights. You can get here by public transportation, but it is more convenient to have a car in this area. Free pick-up and drop-off are available from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station. Other pick-up and drop-off services and sightseeing pick-up and drop-off services are available for 2,000-8,000 yen (round-trip fare) depending on the distance, within a 2-hour one-way range. It is very convenient, with a convenience store, supermarket, and delicious restaurants nearby. You can spend a spacious time renting one building, and it is equipped with a kitchen, furniture, and appliances necessary for daily life, so you can stay with your family and friends as if you were living in Karuizawa. It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example. Hiking in the mountains and strolling around Lake Suwa are also recommended ways to spend your time. It's also great to explore the Suwa area on a rental bicycle.
