Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Enjoy the quiet of the countryside in this classic red cottage. The cottage is located on our property where there is another residential house. Here you live perfectly if you want to visit the cranes at Hornborgasjön, historic Varnhem or the thriving Vallebygden. Lilla Lilleskog is also a great place to stay when you want to visit Skara Sommarland 7 km away. Hiking trails and swimming lakes are within easy distance. Cottage by Göta Canal, Töreboda

Relax in this unique and quiet accommodation. Cozy cottage 100 meters from the Göta Canal. Perfect for cycling or hiking along Sweden's largest construction project, the Göta Canal. About 1 km into Töreboda for shopping and restaurant visits. Enjoy beautiful nature and recharge your batteries in this amazing environment. The cottage consists of a small kitchen, bathroom, living room with sofa bed, upstairs there is a bedroom with double bed and living room. Patio with barbecue grill and parking available. Wi-Fi is available.

Cabin on a farm near Göta Kanal

Cottage next to our farmhouse on the farm with cowshed around the corner for rent. 600 meters from Göta Canal and Hajstorp locks. You will live in an old grain warehouse that has just been converted into a comfortable small accommodation for four people. One more person can fit if two people share a 120 cm bed or if you make the sofa bed. Horses and cows are nearby, so there are also flies. Sometimes you can hear tractors and there is a smell of manure during spring and autumn farming 😃.

Amazing view to lake Unden, the largest fresh water lake in Tived. Fantastic to swim in when it's warm in the summer. Amazing sunsets and a very peaceful atmosphere. Romantic. The area straight down from the cabin by the water doesn't belong to the property but welcomes respectful visitors.

Just a few steps from the sauna, you can take a refreshing dip in the clear lake and then unwind in the warm jacuzzi. Simsjön is a scenic and peaceful spot, perfect for escaping everyday stress and spending quality time together. You can borrow your own boat to explore the lake and enjoy fishing 🎣🌿

At one of the highest points in old Askersund is Villa Klippan and separately on the property you will find this exclusively furnished guest room. Adjustable beds, kitchen with induction stove, microwave and refrigerator. Bathroom with shower and washing machine. Private breakfast terrace. Close to the city center, swimming and walking paths. Bed linens and towels are in the room when you arrive and final cleaning can be added by agreement for SEK 150

Uggletorp's guest house by the forest

The cottage is 4 km outside Sjötorp and 10 km outside Lyrestad. There is a possibility to get there by bicycle. Göta Canal runs through both communities where there are also cafés, grocery stores, restaurants, swimming areas and museums In the pictures, you can also see the nice Sjötorp, which is 10 minutes away by bike. A perfect cabin for hunters, outdoor enthusiasts or for those who are on the road. There are also bicycles for rent.
