The house is located in the upper part of the village. While it has the traditional tower structure of ancient Castelbuono houses, it boasts an ultra-modern architectural renovation that provides the interior with a blending of contemporary lines and historical charm. From the entrance, a futuristic staircase leads along the different floors and rooms equipped with every modern convenience and on the highest floor there's a panoramic terrace with barbecue overlooking the town and the mountains.

UPDATE 2025: The apartment was completely renewed this year, with new air conditioning, beds and bathrooms, soundproof windows and other comforts, still preserving the UNESCO legacy and its unique and charming ambient. The apartment (120m²) is located in a XVIII century building, just next to the cathedral and close to the sea. Casa Marta is the house where my sister Francesca and I spent our summer holidays every year when we were children. It is a simple house but with all the comforts, the view and the fresh air that comes from the Nebrodi park are incomparable. San Fratello is a village outside the tourist routes, has very ancient origins, was founded in the 12th century and its traditions are the result of a long history and a mixture of peoples and cultures that have followed one another over the centuries.
