One of the best Airbnbs I have stayed in. The space was incredibly spacious and thoughtfully equipped with nearly every comfort of home. The hosts' attention to detail was outstanding, and their warm welcome made us feel immediately at ease. When we accidentally left something behind, they went out of their way to return it—such lovely, considerate people. The accommodation itself was excellent, with just a short walk to nearby parking.

We had a wonderful stay in Hanna’s house. Everything was like on the pictures, there is all you need for a good stay. The house was very clean and you can cook meals easily with all the accessories. We liked the fact that even if your staying in a house together with the hosts, you have your full privacy. The city center is close to walk but make sure to check the free city bus. I would recommend this place if you want to visit the beautiful Faroe Islands.

The host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was lovely, including providing some gifts to make sure we were set up for the week, recommendations, and things happening around. We would recommend this place to stay, it's only a 10min free bus into the main town or a very short drive. Very spacious with great views for ferry spotting. There's a nice cat around which isn't allowed in. We would stay here again if we find ourselves back in the Islands! Thank you Eli for your hospitality and letting us stay in this lovely flat!

We are honoured to be Hans and Diana’s first-ever Airbnb guests, and it was an unforgettable experience. They warmly welcomed us with local beers and delicious salmon toasts. The apartment is charming and cozy, even better than the photos. Nestled in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood in Torshavn, it’s just a 5-minute walk to Á Landavegur, a nice supermarket for snacks and groceries. Frequent buses, with a stop nearby, make trips to and from Torshavn’s city center a breeze. For hikers, the apartment’s laundry and technical room is a game-changer, equipped with everything needed to clean muddy shoes and dry clothes. What truly stood out, though, was Hans and Diana’s warmth and enthusiasm. On our final night, they took us to the historic village of Kirkjubøur, where we explored ancient ruins, centuries-old turf houses, and learned about traditional whale hunting. The friendship we formed was the highlight of our trip, and we highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Torshavn!!!

I had a wonderful stay at Høgni's. After a problematic start to my vacation (nothing to do with where I stayed!) Finally getting to my location Høgni really made me feel at ease and was very informative about his property and the sounding area. My stay was very comfortable and homely. The location was perfect, allowing me to move to place to place easily. I would give this a 5* rating. I have some advice for fellow travellers if you are coming from the UK. Be prepared that your phone signal won't work I use EE. I had to purchase a local sim card from Tórshavn the day after I landed, allowing me to use my Google maps.

Torben is an amazing host. I felt just like home Always there when you need him and proactive . I highly recommend staying there. Honestly he made this trip a very special one. A great example of Faroe people hospitality.

Magnus and Anna were very friendly and they recommended great restaurant to us. The house was very cozy, with an independent bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. We highly recommend tourists to stay in their house.

Great location, close to city centre and lots of restaurants. Also, close to major roads for exploring beyond the city. Lots of space for our large group. Kitchen was well equipped. Host was very responsive answering our questions. Highly recommend.

Senøva is a fantastic hostess. Her very cozy house is perfectly fine. We feel right at home there. When there were just issues in Torshavn with the city water, she immediately informed so we could take action. Senøva's place is highly recommended for those looking for a cozy place to stay in Torshavn.

Absolutely wonderful! We loved our stay with Marjun. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans and everything to cook a nice meal. The home is peaceful and clean. We highly recommend this location to anyone in the islands.

Brynjer's accommodation is one of the most beautiful we have stayed in, especially the living room which is an incredible room, very glazed, with a dominant view of all the surroundings. From there, it is 8 minutes from the hyper-center of the capital by car, 55 minutes from the ferry that leaves for Mykines, and the airport. The kitchen has a superb central island, it is very well equipped. The TV unfolds from the wall, you are more than comfortable on the sofa. For those who are sensitive to it like me, the windows open wide if you want (I say this because we did Airbnbs in the Faroe Islands with windows that only opened a few degrees). I don't like the heat, but for those who do, Brynjer's heating is very efficient and can be very powerful if you want it to be. Brynjer was very attentive and responsive. No steps, it is accessible on one level.

Spacious, clean and warm apartment with a view on the harbor. Minutes from Torshavn. Full kitchen with brand new cookware. Rannva is a great host and responded to all questions very quickly. We split our stay between Argir and Klaksvik and should have stayed at this place for the whole duration of the trip.

I loved Atli’s place. It is so lovely and comfortable. It has everything you need and a breathtaking view. Atli is also a welcoming and helpful host. I would absolutely recommend this accommodation for anybody visiting the Faroe Islands.

Guðrun was super friendly and provided us with a lot of suggestions to do in the area. The place was small but nice and cozy. The furniture was brand new with everything we needed. The apartment had a nice view of the mountains around it and was in the center of where we wanted to hike and see.

We had a wonderful stay at Samylyn´s apartment. She is a very nice, friendly and responsive host. She welcomed us and informed about everything we needed to know, and she was very helpful if we had any questions. The apartment was comfortable, nice, clean and had everything we needed and more for the stay. The location was perfect and it is very nice with the large windows in the living room with the view to the harbour. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We had a great time at Martin's place. The apartment, adjoining the owners' house, is very well located in a charming, peaceful and bucolic village. The view of the fjord is magnificent, and conducive to short walks at the end of the day. It's a pretty good situation to drive around the Faroe Islands. The apartment is new, very comfortable, warm, functional, clean and well-equipped. The kitchen is well equipped with all appliances and dishes. Spacious and clean bathroom, with washing machine and dryer. In short, everything you need to have a great stay and feel at home. The only small point that deserves to be mentioned for information, the double bed is small compared to "European standards". Responsive host, clear instructions, flexible check-in in relation to our late arrival and very easy. We recommend it 100%!

My wife and I spent 6 days in this beautiful apartment. Very clean and functional. Plenty of space, well-equipped kitchen, lots of appliances, a large Smart TV, but above all great views. The location is great for visiting the Faroe Islands, in a short time you can reach the capital and all the islands. There are not many restaurants nearby, for those you have to move to the capital which is still only 30 minutes away. 10 minutes away there is a well-stocked supermarket. We recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to enjoy the peace of the Faroe Islands with a strategic location but also super quiet.
