Holiday rentals with a patio in Tórshavn

We felt very comfortable here and enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very nice, cozy and offers everything you need. In addition, you have an incredible view of Tórshavn and the island of Nólsoy. Due to the central location, you can quickly get to the city and have everything you need nearby. Sufia and Jonsvein welcomed us very warmly and showed us everything, we immediately felt welcome. The two gave us tips for excursions and also had some brochures with information ready. We can definitely recommend this accommodation and thank our nice hosts for letting us spend a great week here.

Perfect accommodation and Christian is very nice and responsive. I really recommend this place. The accommodation is very functional and very well equipped. It is very well located, easy to access and the parking space is perfect. The destination of the Faroe Islands is extraordinary and the location of the apartment in the capital Torshavn is ideal for being able to radiate to all the islands. If I ever return to the Faroe Islands, I will contact Christian to return to his apartment. Thank you for the beautiful holidays in this magnificent country where the inhabitants are so warm and kind.

Good location, nice area and sweet host

I enjoyed my stay at Tórun's place, it is at a good location just outside of downtown Tórshavn.

The house is located in a town with nearly 200 years of history in the center of the Faroe Islands. It is not far from various attractions, with the farthest one, Víðoy, being a one-hour drive away. There is a grocery store in the town, and the nearby Bonus is about a 20-minute drive. Behind the house lies a forest park, next to which are a stream, a small bridge, and a football field. The surroundings are very beautiful, quiet, and comfortable. The landlord is very nice, kind, and cheerful. They chatted with us a lot. We wish them happiness every day.

Great place to stay while travelling in the Faroe Islands. The apartment has a lot of amenities, and everything is very clean.

I was impressed by the immaculate apartment and the space was true to the photographs, large ,clean and warm ! It was a great way to start the morning ! Barbara was an exceptional host that went beyond her role as a host. She ensured I had everything to be safe and comfortable and even let me use her laptop at short notice to prepare my edited work ! She was friendly and extremely helpful ! The apartment is located close to a supermarket and bus stations. It was truly a wonderful experience and I certainly recommend staying here 😊 .

We had a wonderful stay at the House of Torfinn. The accommodation was as described and the view from the living room out to the sea was great. Torfinn was easy to reach. The location is perfect to reach every part of the Faroe Islands with no need to change locations during your stay. Around one hour is what you need to get to the farthest points by car. Also, Torshaven is close by as well as places for grocery shopping. The place itself is in a very quite neighborhood. We would definitely come back here if we make it again to the Faroe Islands! You can feel at home:) Spacious, unique home. Perfect for a stay with kids. You can see how a family from the Faroe Islands lives. A truly unique experience. We thought the accommodation was great, very cozy, clean and spacious. It was nice to be able to stay in a traditional home that is near shops and in walking distance. The neighborhood is quiet if that is your preference. Gunnvà was super friendly and just a text away if needed.

We had the great pleasure to stay at Heini and his family’s home during Olai in July, and it suited perfect for us and our needs. Heini was very responsive and flexible with our stay, and were able to bring an extra baby nest so we could fit the whole family (6 adults and 5 children). The house was clean, spacious, really well-equipped and with a view of Tórshavn and Nólsoy to die for. We mostly walked downtown (downhill) and took the bus back, which stops just outside the house. All in all we had a great stay, and we truly recommend this place if you are a big family or group looking for a place to withdraw a bit from the city and relax with a great view - note that some of the beds are a bit smaller than queen size, but it works well if you have children along. Well-appointed modern housing with associated facilities. Good location in relation to Thorshavn and in the opposite direction around the island.

Hugnalig house, we have every convenience. Above and beyond one good creature.

Lovely and homely feel, plenty of character. Greta location, near to supermarket and superb Indian take away! Easy access to the tunnels and airport so ideal for me as I was working all over the country, and easy free parking on the drive. Thanks.

Solva was a great host! Place was absolutely perfect for us and we could walk to everything in town. Solva was very helpful with recommendations and tips for things to do. We got to see a B36 game and that was definitely a highlight. Thank you Solva for a great stay! would definitely come back here.

What a pleasant stay we had in Leirvík. Thorhild and Runi were welcoming and great hosts. It was a great place to explore Eysturoy and the surrounding islands and places to see. Highly recommend.

Beautiful view, very nice host. Apartment is cosy and have everything you need. Close to the two markets, bar and very good fish and chips. It is good place to visit different part of Faroe Island.
