I created this accommodation because I wish there was a place like this. ☆This is not a hotel. We want you to think about how you want to spend your time. On sunny days, enjoy morning coffee on the large wooden deck. In the cold winter, warm up with a wood stove, and make and eat a delicious meal yourself. Play your favorite music, and read surrounded by books lining the walls. Take a walk to Gero Station while catching a glimpse of life in Gero. Fishing at sea, picking azaleas, bamboo shoots, and wild potatoes in the mountains, and eating them yourself. Long stays are recommended. Based at Shimonada Cabin, it is about an hour's drive to Matsuyama City. 2.5 hours to Shimanto River. 3 hours to Shikoku Karst. Shopping can be done in Iyo City or Nagahama Town, or you can buy from local fishmongers and greengrocers and cook for yourself. Of course, you can also eat at a nearby restaurant if you book. Anyway, I want you to relax at Shimonada Cabin. One night is too wasteful. I recommend at least 2 days. It is a place that can be enjoyed in good weather or bad.

The building is a renovation of an old house in the countryside. Long edges, a large tatami room, and spaces where you can feel the past, such as a kamado and a firewood bath, give a feeling of nostalgia. As far as the eye can see, there is also a wooden deck that can be used with confidence even in rainy weather in the courtyard, which is an overwhelming private space with only mountains, fields and slopes. Parking is available. Wi-Fi is available. It takes about 20 minutes to drive to the nearest supermarket and convenience store, so please prepare ingredients in advance when you arrive. House is just a short walk to the regular ferry terminal to Okinoshima, and15-minute drive to Enkoji,NO39 Shikoku88. This house is old but nice spacious two-story . you can use whole facility for private . The ceiling of first floor is a bit low and the bath is small. but has a good ocean view.

Embrace the “slow life.” The space is a renovated private bungalow next to our main house. Surrounded by trees and quiet, it's an oasis to unwind, unplug, have lazy breakfasts and nap in the hammock. For more active travelers, it's a good base to explore the area. We are 9 km from Shimanto City restaurants and shopping and an easy drive to activities on Shimanto River or the beach. We do require a 2-night minimum but highly encourage you to slow down and stay longer.
