Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Toyama

This place was a great find! Close to the train station and very comfortable. It is cold in the winter but heaters are provided.

Harada-san's place is reminiscent of the traditional Japanese houses but with modern amenities and very clean. It was a very comfortable stay for our family of 5 - both the sleeping area and kitchen are are very wide and comfortable. It's nice that we can immediately park in front of the house. Harada-san lives in the neighbouring house and actually swap our dirty towels everyday. We also appreciate her timely reminder to book the Alpine Kurobe public transport tickets and her sharing of alternative local tour bus option to get to the snow wall (very economical too). The surrounding neighbourhood is peaceful, aesthetic and walkable - with the Alps in the background on clear days. Beyond happy with this stay. Highly recommended if you are planning to stay before going to the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route.

The couple who own this AirBnb were very kind. They gave us a free bike rental the day we checked in— had wonderful views of mountains, Sea of Japan, rice fields and great cycling paths! Accommodation was perfect for our needs! Thank you!!

Our family enjoyed Tom's Cozy House with two kids and two adults. It is a very kid-friendly home. The low beds are safe and comfortable for children, and there are plenty of towels and blankets. The host provided a child car seat and stroller for us. The dishwasher and clothes dryer were a big help for parents. It's just a two-minute walk from the famous ramen restaurant Tomiko. We were fortunate to experience this well-known ramen spot in Toyama! We would definitely love to come back. Thank you so much!

Highly recommend this stay. Excellent location near the city center and the some of the nicest hosts I’ve met anywhere. Wifi was spotty at times, but the view of the mountain range from the balcony more than made up for it.

とてもきれいで、モダンでおしゃれな雰囲気の民泊でした。 写真に載っていなかった椅子もあり、くつろぎスペースも充実。 パジャマや歯ブラシなどのアメニティも揃っていて、手ぶらで泊まっても安心です。 トースターや電気ポットはデロンギ製で、コーヒーも用意されており、朝のひとときも贅沢に過ごせました。 ベッドもふかふかで寝心地が良く、旅の疲れをしっかり癒やせました。 福井駅からはタクシーで約1000円、歩いても20分ほど。 近所にコンビニはありませんが、すぐ近くにスーパーがあるので不便は感じませんでした。 翌日の予定がないことを伝えると、親切に周辺の観光情報も教えていただけて、ホスピタリティも素晴らしかったです。 また富山を訪れる機会があれば、ぜひ再訪したいと思います！

Great welcome on arrival, free drinks and tickets for the local tram. Room was clean, soft beds, softer pillows. Small but functional hot shower. Plenty of great restaurants and sights around and if you have a car you can easily visit Japan's highest waterfall!

Smells nice, tide and clean. Their pijamas are really nice. You have to be careful about train and bus schedules because their is basically none. Either you’ll come by car or do well research if you see more around this area. Nonetheless your main purpose is to do nothing, chill, escaping from busy city, this is the place to go. Fantastic serene nature and atmosphere around entire village.

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist nicht weit vom Bahnhof entfernt und es ist allgemein alles gut erreichbar. Die Gastgeber waren auch sehr freundlich und ich bin sehr dankbar für die schöne Zeit in Toyama.
