Raft & Reel Riverfront Getaway

ChristopherRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Colin and his team were incredible hosts. I had more questions than most travelers probably do, but every single one was answered within minutes—despite the Airbnb site saying the average response time was nine hours. That level of responsiveness was impressive on its own, but what truly stood out was the genuine kindness and compassion they showed. We were in Shady Cove under difficult circumstances due to a family loss, and Colin’s team went above and beyond to check in on us and make sure we had everything we needed. It didn’t feel like staying in a rental—it felt like staying with family. As for the property itself absolutely stunning. The home sits right on the Rogue River, and the bay window view is mesmerizing. It’s the kind of spot you could spend hours just watching the water go by. The yard is beautifully landscaped—truly magazine-worthy—and adds to the peaceful, restorative atmosphere. This was one of the warmest, most thoughtful experiences I’ve ever had through Airbnb.

This property is incredibly beautiful, and the host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful even with my large dog which can be hard to find. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely eclectic Riverhouse on the Rogue River.

We had a great stay at Carolin’s place and would definitely stay here again. The house and property are beautiful, well equipped, and just steps away from the river. Carolin was an amazing host, as she would periodically check in with us via text and email to see if there was anything we needed. Carolin, thanks for everything!

Azalea Farmstay

MichelleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We love this house. It is built with wooden beams and thick walls, which provides good insulation. During our stay, the inside of the house was cool while outside weather was very hot. It is spacious and provides a rustic feel without sacrificing any comfort. There is a creek next to the house that we enjoyed our morning tea and dipped our feet in (Drew is so nice that he put chairs next to the creek before our arrival). We also had fun watching the dogs, the chickens and fed them some treats. Drew is a very nice host and very fun to talk to. He also showed us the property and gave us lots of local information. We also love his fresh chicken eggs and bought some with us when we left. We really enjoyed our stay and won't hesitate to book again! Thank you Drew for an amazing experience!

Beautifully Updated Relaxing Riverfront Home

MichaelRating, 5 stars10 months ago
I spent 5 relaxing days at Rivers Edge with my two children and wife. We all slept comfortably there and enjoyed the amenities. Its ideally situated on the Rogue River and has beautiful views of woods from the back yard. Easily accessible to Shady Cove grocery stores and restaurants. Medford is 30 min away if you want more options. Crater Lake National Park is about 1 h drive away and there are great recreational opportunities including hikes to the Natural Bridge, Lost Creek Lake, and local wineries. If you go river rafting you can easily stop at the house for a snack - its about 1/2 way down on the the local self guided route. We spent many hours just enjoying the back deck and yard watching hawks, deer, ducks, turkeys and the river flow. Water is cold with swift currents - swimming is possible but not for the faint of heart. Jessica was responsive and flexible. Everything was clean and comfortable. My only wish would be to have a second shower - the master bathroom only has a tub.

The Shady Knoll

I wasn't sure about staying in Shady Cove as we had never been there. I thought it was next door to Medford. I'm so glad I made that mistake. Shady Cove is an awesome little town. This house was so comfortable and the neighborhood is peaceful. The place is clean and has some great design choices (Love that the switch to turn on the beautiful walk-in shower isn't under the faucet so you get blasted with cold water. Such a smart move!). The bed was comfortable and I loved that there was a TV in the bedroom. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

We had such an amazing time staying at this beautiful and serene House on the Rogue! The house is super clean, comfortable and well-stocked with amenities. Shady Cove is an awesome little fishing town and everyone is super friendly. Whether you’re staying to fish the Rogue, visit Crater Lake, reconnect with family and nature, or simply spend some solo time; this is THE place to stay! Nic and Ellen are excellent hosts! You won’t regret staying here. We will most definitely be back!

Shady Gem

We are a 3 person group to visit Crater Lake during Labor Day long weekend and book the house in last minutes. Michael’s house is big, clean and well-equipped with all we need. It’s around 20 minutes drive to Lost Creek Lake and around 1 hour drive to South Gate of Crater Lake National Park. There is also a grocery store near the house(around 5 minutes walk). The instruction to get into the house is clear and easy. Michael also provides a welcome book to introduce nearby sightseeing spots and things to do. My friends and I all enjoy our 2 nights stay at Michael’s house and definitely recommend people who couldn’t book the a place to stay at Crater Lake NP to stay at Michael’s house.
