Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Treflys

We wanted an isolated rural retreat for a week and got exactly that. Fully equipped for outdoor and indoor activities, great hot tub, loads of space. Peaceful, beautiful and only 20 mins in the car to Llandrindod Wells for supplies. Great walks. Dogs loved it. Our Family enjoyed everything. When we needed to contact the hosts on a couple of occasions they responded within a couple of minutes. Fab games room in the loft. Huge comfy beds and the most amazing logburner.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Trish’s beautiful cottage nestled among the hills. The house itself was stunning, featuring charming wooden interiors and thoughtful design throughout. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Trish and Ian were incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts. They gave us great recommendations for scenic walks with breathtaking mountain views. They even took the time to show us their other nearby properties, which were equally impressive - especially the one with the huge, cozy fireplace and beautiful architecture. One of the highlights of our trip was spending time with the lovely farm animals especially Jerry the pony, who absolutely stole our hearts! We also met some friendly chickens and George, their lovable dog. For those who prefer not to interact with animals, there’s no pressure but our group of four loved the experience and were grateful to be allowed to meet them. Highly recommend this beautiful stay!

Fantastic hosts , really helpful and responsive . Lots of information about the local area and things to do. House was very clean and comfortable, with everything you needed , beds and beddings was really cosy and we slept so well , we didn’t actually want to leave and stayed longer than originally booked. The views and local walks were beautiful too . The local pub was nice although we only had a drink there. Kitchen facilities were so good we cooked most the time. Highly recommend

We had a lovely time at Alison’s place during the book festival. V easy to reach the festival place, and the town at other times. Comfortable, quiet place with good beds (including lovely linen sheets). Cute secluded garden to sit in and have coffee. The only thing we would have wished for was a set of black-out blinds in each bedroom. So pack an eye mask if you like your bedroom dark! But that really was the only suggestion we had. The property was a beautiful peaceful location. Being a converted barn everything was on one level. Very contemporary and tastefully decorated throughout. Every eventuality has been catered for whether a short or long stay. Looking forward to returning when next in the area. Totally recommended.

Nicole was such a fabulous host, it’s clear she has set out to ensure everyone has a fantastic stay. Communication was quick and had recommendations for food locally. I loved the little luxury details - beautiful fluffy towels, gorgeous cookies, a good fan, shampoos, conditioner, dog treats and towels etc. A very lovely stay, walking distance to the town where we met very friendly locals. Would definitely stay again 🥰

Really really loved our stay here! Such a beautiful place, with stunning views! Place was equipped with everything and more, we felt so cosy as soon as we arrived. Lovely picnic bench where we spent most of our time enjoying the views and the friendly cat was an added bonus. Thank you so much for a gorgeous stay and would definitely come back!

Wonderful character barn with a totally private balcony terrace. Sitting there and listening to the birds was lovely, it felt as if you were in the tree tops. Great location for mountain walks like Dragon’s Back. The local co op and Morrisons daily (5 minute drive) were really handy.

Fabulous apartment, with amazing views in a peaceful location. Loved all the little touches. Enjoyed watching the Guinea Pigs pop up in the garden ! Probably the best AirBnB we’ve stayed in. Thanks a lot !

Helen's flat is very spacious, beautifully decorated and furnished and the kitchen table has a stunning view over Hereford (many games of cribbage played with glasses of wine!). The kitchen has everything needed to produce a meal and Helen kindly left milk, breakfast goods etc in the fridge. The bed was very comfortable, with extra linen if you needed. The HUGE shower was a real luxury. The relaxing spacious sitting room has a woodburner stove if needed (sadly we could not justify lighting it in June 😆). This is a perfect base for travelling around the beautiful surrounding areas, or to just chill out and relax (WiFi very good). 10/10 🤗

Perfect location for those exploring Barry Island. Host were friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Communication was fantastic. Room was exactly what we needed. Clean and tidy. Bed and bedding was comfortable. Garden was lovely for a coffee if a morning. We especially liked the free and included doggy cuddles. ❤️ The only downside was having to leave. I had a great stay and Sian and Gareth’s place. Sian was really helpful and flexible with checking in and out which was much appreciated. I was given a tour of the flat on arrival and shown where everything was. The flat was immaculately clean and looked like the photos. It was spacious and had everything I needed for the weekend, especially the kitchen which is well equipped. The location was peaceful and accessible for getting about South Wales. I’d definitely recommend a stay here and will be back!

We ve had a wonderful stay; the place is very spacious, clean and cozy and it has everything you need to cook as well. The views are beautiful and surrounded by lots of different animals (including friendly llamas!). We had a lovely stay in the apartment. It was spotlessly clean and was supplied with all the small items you don't want to go out and buy when you stay in an airbnb. One of the best we've ever had in this sense. There was everything from spices, toilet rolls, bin bags, shampoo, washing up liquid and many other things. We found this very helpful and would say it is the big plus of this place.

We had the most wonderful stay with Mags. The house is stunning, surrounded by the most beautiful landscaped gardens. It was lovely to wake up to the birdsong in the morning. The property itself is cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We slept great and the shower is excellent! Lastly, Mags was the cherry on top. She was kind, attentive and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome, albeit we only stayed for one night. One of the best Air BnBs we’ve stayed in - we hope we can find an excuse to come back again. Brava!

Such a great accommodation for spending a few days in the area. The apartment is clean, modern, perfectly equipped, comfortable, quiet and private. Easy access to the Brecon Beacons, as well as Swansea. Lucy and David are the ideal hosts: thoughtful, responsive, friendly and accommodating. It was my second stay at the apartment, I'll definitely be staying again.

Extremely well appointed and immaculately clean property which clearly demonstrates Sally and John’s passion for their property and commitment to their guests’ experience. Super friendly and proactive communications from Sally and an ideally placed property for a surfing trip to The Wave in Bristol. Would love to stay again sometime.

Great spot to rest after a full days riding at bike park wales, hot powerful shower, and a comfy bed. Everything clean and tidy and as it says in the advert.

Carolyn’s place is perfectly placed for exploring the lovely area. Compact with everything required for a weekend away. Carolyn is a lovely host and her accommodation is spotlessly presented. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed my stay. Veronika made me feel welcome, and the map/directions and check-in procedure we were clear and easy. The accommodation was nice and private, and walking distance from the hospital. I hope to stay here again next time I visit Hereford. Thank you Veronika.

We had a wonderful stay here. The place was lovely, very private and had everything we needed. There were 2 adults and 2 children in our booking and there was plenty of space for us. The hot tub was lovely with great views. The hosts were very welcoming upon arrival and were great at communicating before and during our visit. We will definitely look at staying here again in the future.
