Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Treflys

We had a wonderful few days at Margaret’s Cottage. The cottage itself and the surroundings were beautiful and Margaret and her family were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Would highly recommend!!

Great stay in Brecon! The location is great to get to everything in town via foot and also great to use as a base for heading out hiking and exploring the local area. Nice and peaceful area and lovely cozy feel made it a really comfortable place to stay

Me and my family of 5 (including 2 small children) had a wonderful stay at Ceri’s house. The views are beautiful, peaceful and we felt right at home (being from the Somerset countryside!). My children loved seeing the sheep and cows every day, as well as the various birds coming to visit. Ceri’s house had *everything* we needed for our 4 night stay, and she was a lovely host. The house was difficult to find, although good instructions on the listing, we feel maybe what3words would be better used here. Coming from a non-pet family, there was a noticeable dog smell downstairs with pet hairs - which admittedly we did struggle with HOWEVER we did know beforehand that furry friends are allowed here so that’s on us. That being said - the house was really nice and colourful, really welcoming and we would definitely return given the opportunity. Thank you so much 💕

Fantastic hosts , really helpful and responsive . Lots of information about the local area and things to do. House was very clean and comfortable, with everything you needed , beds and beddings was really cosy and we slept so well , we didn’t actually want to leave and stayed longer than originally booked. The views and local walks were beautiful too . The local pub was nice although we only had a drink there. Kitchen facilities were so good we cooked most the time. Highly recommend

The cottage is very well installed, with plenty of space for ourbfamily of four adults. The kitchen is excellent, as well as the conservatory/lounge. The hot tub is hands down the top amenity: pristine clean and warm! Highly recommended!

The Cider Press Barn made an excellent base for our short holiday. We found it comfortable and well-presented with good facilities. We liked the quiet rural location, off road parking and pleasant bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom. Rosie responded promptly to any queries and kindly left us a welcome gift of delicious local apple juice and homemade jam and gin. We visited some lovely gardens in the area including Rhodds Farm, Brobury House, Hergest Croft, Burford House and Stockton Bury, all within easy driving distance. Thanks Rosie - we really enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the cottage is so much bigger than we imagined but warm and cosy too, the location is central with outdoor walks but also shops, a petrol station etc nearby as well, cannot fault this at all and will definitely consider coming back in Winter ❄️ Almost missed the turning down to park so keep an eye out to your left! We had a great stay at the Saddlery. The house is beautiful and the setting is stunning - so special to see the new born lambs, explore the amazing grounds and to relax in nature. Sally was a great host, really accommodating and had fab local recommendations. We cannot recommend the Saddlery enough and would love to stay again!

Helen's flat is very spacious, beautifully decorated and furnished and the kitchen table has a stunning view over Hereford (many games of cribbage played with glasses of wine!). The kitchen has everything needed to produce a meal and Helen kindly left milk, breakfast goods etc in the fridge. The bed was very comfortable, with extra linen if you needed. The HUGE shower was a real luxury. The relaxing spacious sitting room has a woodburner stove if needed (sadly we could not justify lighting it in June 😆). This is a perfect base for travelling around the beautiful surrounding areas, or to just chill out and relax (WiFi very good). 10/10 🤗

We enjoyed a weekend stay in Sarah’s beautiful apartment. It is furnished to a very high standard and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would be delighted to return.

Amazing location in Clifton, in the heart of Clifton. village. The flat was so quiet and peaceful at night, it was perfect!

This is our second time at the property Had a great stay restaurant and bar staff so friendly in the Barn will definitely be coming back again

Absolutely idyllic space. Views superb. Access to double bed is a ladder so might not suit everyone. We loved it.

Really lovely little flat in a beautiful location - gorgeous views. The place had everything we needed, comfy bed and great shower. Elizabeth was very friendly and responsive too when we had any questions. Really lovely stay in the Welsh countryside!

Such a lovely stay at Lakeside Lodge, the surroundings were beautiful and our host Andrew went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. Stunning lake one side of the lodge and stunning views of the hilly countryside the other (both visible from the view in the hot tub) really could not have asked for anything more for a chilled girls trip. Could have stayed there forever!

This clever barn conversion is quite thoughtfully designed and very comfortable inside and out. The professional level of decoration found a wonderful balance of beauty and homeyness; everything was lovely in the most welcoming way. There was lots of space for our family to spread out, and the beds and linens were excellent. As lovely as the house is, the best part by far is the view. It was absolutely stunning, rain or shine! We found ourselves drawn outside at all hours of the day to enjoy the sights and sounds around us. Just as described, there were places in the house where the wifi was spotty, and the track up through the neighboring farm to the house might be a challenge for some cars. As we had read about the property, we were not surprised and spent an absolutely wonderful week there! There were plenty of restaurants and grocery stores 10-15 minutes away in Abergavenny when we could tear ourselves away from this slice of paradise.

The most beautiful villa and views we took some beautiful walks the dog is very tired we all had the best time beautiful village with friendly lovely people would highly recommend

I have to come clean - I am an enthusiast of Penarth, the architecture of the town, the community feel, and everything about the place. Sarah's place, being among the oldest houses in the town, was a must for all the things I was looking for. Sarah herself is friendly and has clearly put a lot of herself into the house. My journey time to Penarth could have been subject to delays, being more than 500 miles... but we had good communication and met up without difficulty at the house. All in all, the house was cosy and well appointed. It also was a great base for strolling into Penarth Town centre and even, across the barrage, to Butetown and even Cardiff. I would thoroughly recommend Sara's house for your stay.

I visited with a family of 9. It was a lovely place, we all felt right at home. Everything was well described in the listing and even better in real than the photos. I highly recommend Simon’s place If you wish to explore Cardiff and surrounding areas. It is a convenient location to station yourself in the city. Hoping to come again and use the same place in future. Thanks a lot Simon for a lovely experience! Cheers

Great location and just a short walk from the beach which offered some amazing sunsets. Nearest shop was only a short drive away and the house was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. I would recommend taking some fly spray if you plan to leave the windows open.
