We had a wonderful stay at the Red House! The space was very cozy, yet surprisingly roomy — perfect for relaxing and feeling right at home. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and the setting felt peaceful and private throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and a quiet retreat.

We had an amazing stay at Greg’s cottage. It was the perfect getaway and the perfect mix between cozy cottage and fancy amenities! We loved the sauna and the hot tub, they were amazing additions to Greg’s. The beds were super comfortable as well which is always a plus at a cottage. Greg was always responsive and was super helpful. We cannot wait to come back to this cozy cottage! Thanks Greg!

from the moment we arrived we knew we had found a gem. from.the clear communication to the immaculate cottage with gorgeous views and crystal clean hot tub, we were sold !!! Highly recommend!!! will be back as soon as we are able .

This was our third year staying at Paul’s beautiful spot on the river. As a group of seven seniors this spot is extremely suitable for our needs to be on one level. A perfect place for a larger group. Thank you Paul for letting us enjoy your clean, easily accessible home for our holidays. Hopefully see you next year.

Beautiful Airbnb for a girls weekend away! Everything was very clean and the Airbnb was decorated very nicely. It was the perfect spot for my bachelorette weekend. The hosts were nice enough to leave us a bottle of wine and a handwritten note for our stay. The host checked in with us throughout the weekend to make sure everything was going well, and we knew we could reach out to them at any point throughout the stay. They were quick to respond to any messages. The property was beautiful as well, and we really enjoyed the hot tub!

Casey's home was beautiful and the effort they put into the small touches really shows.Everything was spotless when we got there and their instructions were clear and helpful. Their guide on things to do in the area were also great. We enjoyed the hot tub, the BBQ, and the patio in equal measure and overall had an amazing time! Thank you Casey, we will be back!

The host was super friendly and considerate. The house was clean and loaded with everything you would need or even think about, and also everything was organized and was in its place. We may come back with our friends again, cause our experience was really satisfying.

The house was spotless and the garden was absolutely lovely. Both we and our dog had a wonderful time during our stay. We always bring our own sheets to Airbnb stays, but we couldn’t help noticing how fresh and clean the ones here smelled — that was a really nice touch. Many of the things we brought with us were already available in the house, which made everything so convenient. Hot water was always available, which made our stay even more comfortable. The garden was peaceful, filled only with the sounds of birds and frogs — it was truly relaxing to just listen to nature. Getting away from Toronto for a few days was exactly what we needed. Before we arrived, Dylan had kindly left firewood out in the yard for us — that was such a thoughtful gesture and we really appreciated it. As a suggestion, the double bed could use some improvement — it wasn’t very comfortable. Also, the mosquitoes were really intense; despite using repellent, we were bitten all over. Fantastic stay! Clean, beautiful views, hot tub was amazing and fishing off the dock was pretty good. NOTE: Proximity to road was a bit of a thing for the sound. That being said it didn't diminish our enjoyment of our stay. Thank you again!

We had a perfectly relaxing extended weekend. Spacious, clean and practically everything we needed including a fully supplied kitchen, books to read, games and puzzles to play, and loads of firewood to make the space warm and cozy. Lots of places to sit and relax inside and outside. We enjoyed the view of the lake either on the decks or inside through the large windows. Heidi was very responsive to messages and her instructions were clear and easy to follow. We look forward to coming back in the fall or winter months.

Me and my friends stayed at Catchmore Resore and had a great time! we stayed in cottage #2 and had no complaints. We had a nice view of the water, took advantage of all the fun activities available, found the beds to be very comfortable and staff to be extremely friendly/helpful! only downfall to this cottage is that the shower head isn't adjustable...so the shorter guest found the shower hard to use. However there were other communal showers located on property so it wasn't the end of the world. overall we had a great time at this location and would recommend!

We stayed at Dmitry’s cottage in mid-June for almost 3 nights and brought our dog along. And it was an amazing experience! The lake access is fantastic, and the equipment provided made it even more enjoyable. The rustic interior is beautifully designed and gives off such a warm and welcoming vibe. One of the highlights was the 75-inch TV, perfect for cozy movie nights. Outdoors, there are four different areas to enjoy: comfy seating around the firepit, a lovely patio, a relaxing hot tub, and swings with outdoor furniture that make it easy to unwind and take in the nature around you. Just a heads-up: bring mosquito spray or patches to enjoy the outdoors more comfortably. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and well-equipped getaway!

My friends and I had an amazing time at this lovely cottage, it was cozy & beautiful and there was lots to do! We enjoyed the hottub, SUPs, kayaks, the pool table & dart board & fire pit! Would definitely stay again, the hosts were also lovely & easy to communicate with!!

Me and my boyfriend had the most relaxing stay at Meghan’s cottage over the weekend. Everything that was mentioned is included and more! This place was perfect for the two of us but can accommodate a family of 6 comfortably. Just a heads up, there are quite a bit of steps from parking all the way to the cottage and going to the dock but it’s all worth it. We also watched the most beautiful sunset by the dock and my boyfriend caught quite a bit of fish. I personally enjoyed the kayak and the N64 bringing a vintage touch! We would 100% stay here again, but definitely for longer so we can enjoy all activities included in the cottage!

The host was very responsive and answers all our questions well. The self-checkin instruction was very clear. We also had an early check-in at 12 PM, which was very convenient for our trip. The place has a great view and very stylish furnitures. We enjoyed the dock and sitting near the campfire.

Cottage is comfortable & very well equipped. The deck over the water is divine, esp in the perfect early fall weather we had. We spent blissful early morning & evening hours out there loving the tranquility & lake view. We'd definitely like to do a repeat next fall. That said, Oak Lake is small & ringed by many cottages, likely very lively with boats & rec vehicles in high season. Though we were dying to go in the water, the lake bottom is very yucky. If swimming & easy access from-shoreline matters to you, this location isn't ideal. There may be other sites around the lake where you can get into the water, don't know. What is ideal for kids is the bunkie with bunk beds. (We didn't realize the extra bedroom pictured is a bunkie, in which our senior girlfriend who visited us didn't want to sleep, so used the LR sofa instead.) To swim, we went to Sandbanks provincial park, with its amazing beaches, about an hour away.

Excellent stay! The beach club 1 house down was amazing for our kid with the sandy, shallow entrance and cafe. Everyone was friendly in the area, too. The master bedroom right on the lake is amazing. Kitchen is fully stocked and the entire house is cozy. Also very close to amenities as well as conservation areas. Makes for a very convenient cottage stay, especially if you have kids.

Katie and Craig's place was nothing short of impeccable. We were a family of 6 with 2 small kids and this place really felt so comfortable and cozy, that we definitely decided to make it our annual getaway. As hosts, Craig and Katie were so easy and friendly to communicate with. We missed a few things to grab from the store, but Katie was able to arrange to get us these items, which were much appreciative. The cabin is located in such a serene and spectacular location. The boat ride to and from the cabin was an experience in itself and whilst we were at the cabin there were plenty of games for the kids to be entertained with, a peaceful hammock which I personally slept on for the 2 afternoons we spent there, and finally the hot tub, canoes and peddle boats. This is a gem of a place with excellent amenities. 5 stars do not do this place justice honestly. It's 7 stars for sure!

Great host and awesome place, perfect for a cottage get away. Plenty of water crafts to take out on the river. Host is very communicative and helpful.

It's a fantastic place, with great style, organization, and cleanliness. We had a lovely time here and would highly recommend it. Edward and Angeli are great hosts who were extremely proactive. The hot tub makes for a great winter getaway as well!
