Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Tromsøya

We had a lovely stay at Ingelinn's apartment. The accommodation is located outside the city center but is easily accessible via two bus lines and is less than 5 minutes walk to two supermarkets, compensating for the lack of restaurants in the neighborhood. A bus line also allows you to reach the airport without change. The apartment is cute, well decorated and quite well-equipped for cooking. Communication with our host was very smooth and fast. We will not hesitate to return during our next stay in Tromsø!

The apartment has become our fixed go-to place when we are in Tromsø. Perfect location for our activities, grocery store and bus stop to the city center. Very nice and welcoming hosting is the icing on the cake!

The host was willing to communicate and coordinate people's needs and were helpful.Just a small bug in the translation function in the system that led to a misunderstanding with the final check out time, which was resolved smoothly in the end, which was much appreciated.

The apartment is very warm and welcoming. It is in a strategic location, it is very close to the bus stop and the center (we also reached the thermal baths on foot, 40 minutes). It is very bright, it is located at the intersection of an important road, but the windows are of excellent quality and do not let you hear the noise of the cars. The apartment is equipped with everything you need to cook hot dishes. The bed is super comfortable. The host was very kind to give clear directions and information before our arrival.

My stay at Veronica’s studio was fantastic! The studio was impeccably clean and nicely decorated. The fully-equipped kitchenette allowed me to quip a meal whenever I pleased. Veronica was very responsive and answered all my questions instantly. The apartment is a 15-minute walk from the center of town or a 5-minute bus ride. Supermarket is right around the corner from the apartment building! I highly recommend Veronica’s place.

Staying with Ingrid and Eirik was beautiful. We landed late and were still able to check in easily. The apartment is very cozy and we felt right at home. Surroundings is quiet and perfect for relaxing. We either walked or took the bus to the city, a stop is nearby. We would stay with Ingrid and Eirik again at any time:)

Perfect for a basic apartment with everything you need. Regular buses into town and easy to find. Felt nice being in a residential area. Quiet and beautiful views.

Wonderful apartment, highly recommended. Light and airy and south facing so it gets the sun with nice views over the town and the fjord. Well appointed and comfortable, lovely comfortable bed. Easy to access, the local bus from the airport stops very close. Great location for an easy walk to the centre of Tromso. Quiet. You can’t go wrong. Great communication from Tor Andre.

Merethe and Aage were both lovely hosts! The Airbnb was conveniently located close to the city centre but far enough that we were able to see the northern lights! The place was clean and cosy, and we were greeted with a welcome basket too. Highly recommend this place, would definitely stay here again if I visited Tromso again. Thank you!

Great appointment for University visitors. Campus is 10 min walking distance. The apartment is cozy and has everything one might need. Two big supermarkets nearby and the gym is just two floors down. The furniture in the kitchen has seen its days, but is clean. And the kitchen is fully equipped and functional. Worth every cent paid.

Felt like home away from home. Location is closer to the city center reachable by bus. Benedicte was very responsive and gave clear guidance to make the best out of our stay.

Maline always answered our questions quickly. The apartment is spacious and has plenty of storage space. The listing complies with the description and photos. It was clean and the kitchen is particularly well equipped thank you because it is not always the case! You will feel comfortable as soon as you enter. The environment is quiet and the apartment has partial views of the fjord and the mountains. Bus stops that allow you to go to the center or to the southern tip of the island are 2 minutes from the apartment. However, the 2 places are safely reached by foot. I recommend Maline's apartment without reservation.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Christian & Rakel’s home near Tromsø! It’s a comfortable and cozy basement surrounded by beautiful views and hiking right out the door. The home is well-stocked with everything you’ll need to cook and relax. We were really hoping to see the northern lights, but knew it was a risk at such a late date and tail end of the Aurora season. We didn’t have success at the beginning of the week, there was a lot of cloud cover, rain and snow. However, we found a website that helped a lot and we drove 1 1/2 hours one night and 2 1/2 hours the next night and experienced wonderful views of the northern lights!!!! If the sky had been clear, we likely could have seen them at Christian & Rakel’s place. But it was well worth the drive for us. Christian and Rakel were lovely hosts! We had wonderful conversations and they were very responsive and helpful. On the trip we saw a lot of wildlife: moose, reindeer, eagles and other birds. The scenery is breathtaking!!

We just finished our stay in Tromsø. We cannot say enough wonderful things about our hosts and the home. We saw the view on the photos, but it still shocks you when you walk in. We spent many hours looking out the windows and enjoying the beautiful city. Eirik and Karina were extremely responsive and proactive with all communications. They checked in periodically to make sure we were okay. Their home is immaculate and lent itself well to our family, as described. We even saw the auroras from the balcony on a clear night. Thank you, we would come again in a heartbeat!

What a perfect place to spend some time in Tromso! Kristin Helene was very communicative from the start. We appreciated her warm welcome. We were not able to meet her in person but the personal note left on the table was such a nice touch. We liked being in Hamna a bit removed from the buzzing city center and only 30 min by bus (bus 28 stop is right down the street). Kristin's apartment is the most homey Airbnb we've ever stayed in and was so comfortable. BTW, the beds are amazing and there is more that you need. We enjoyed the last bit of the northern lights from the porch. We hope to be back one day. Thanks Kristin for sharing your sweet home with us.

Siril was very friendly and helpful. The house was very cozy and because Christmas was also lovingly decorated. We felt very comfortable. Glad to come back.

A beautiful family home in Tromso with a spectacular view over the fjord. We saw the Northern Lights on our first night from the balcony! Buses to the city centre and the airport are a couple of minutes walk away and are really frequent. You don’t need a car. Would recommend a trip up the mountain in the cable car. Spectacular views over Tromso and amazing aurora that filled the sky. The house was warm, spotlessly clean and welcoming. The only draw back was having only one bathroom between 6 people but that is clear from the description.

Modern new house with lots of automated electronic equipment. Neat and clean. The landlord promptly reminded us to see the Aurora, which was a very pleasant living experience.

We had a great time in Tromso, we love the house. The house is spacious and was comfortable for the 8 of us. There are 2 bathrooms but only one has a shower/bathtub, so it requires a bit of organization. The beds are very comfortable, we slept like babies. The is a great location, overlooking a fjord, and walking distance to a bus stop to go to Tromso (20 minutes bus ride). The supermarket is also walking distance, and open until 23:00 every day. The lighting system is a bit strange and needs practice to understand how it works 😉. Overall, the house is clean although for that price there is room for improvement.

We had a fantastic week long stay at Hui her house! What a beatifull place to stay. Good beds, great kitchen, great bathrooms, great overall location. Hui is very responsive on questions and very kind. If we come to Tromsø again we would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended. Thank you Hui and family!
