Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Truro

Made to feel at home, lots of little extras provided that we didn’t expect - cake, milk, eggs, tea, coffee.

I had a great stay. I was working in Truro and the property was a great place to relax after a long day at work. Having access to netflix was a nice touch. Place was spotless, kitchen facilities were good and had everything I needed. Having my own car park space was also a bonus. I would highly recommend 😀

This house is perfect. Clean, extremely spacious with a delightful garden complete with table and chairs, leading on to the stream. This is our second stay, another one booked for the autumn and already thinking about next year. A real home from home, in a delightful village and with good neighbours. Can’t fault it at all.

Had a lovely and peaceful stay. Cheryl was lovely, very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was exactly as described and what we had hoped for. Will defo go back when we can.

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage. It’s in a nice area and the host left clear instructions. Also, he had great suggestions for restaurants nearby. We had a couple unexpected problems, not his fault, but he was extremely responsive and helpful. The only downside is the parking. It is as described, but we found it hard to maneuver the turn to his place. If you have difficulty, let him know and he’ll make other arrangements.

We had a lovely time away. Alison and Craig are amazing hosts, very helpful, we appreciated all the recommendations. They make sure everything is up to your standards and want you to feel at home, which we really did. This beautiful place has all the facilities you need. The view is breathtaking and the bbq is a perfect touch. We enjoyed drinks at the local pub with the view of the beach, the beach is lovely and peaceful. The food and cocktails at the local restaurant are also amazing!

We stayed for 3 days while exploring Cornwall and the location was great as a base. The house itself was perfect for our needs. A fully equipped kitchen, some super comfy sofas, the beds were also very comfy and the bathroom was spacious with a great shower (much needed after a day at the beach!). It really felt like a home from home. We would definitely look to book this house again if coming down to Cornwall!

A truly perfect stay – peaceful, beautifully designed, and full of holistic vibes with the sauna and cold shower + hot tub. Exceeded all expectations. Noiseless, calming, and exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommended!

‘The Lookout’ was the perfect place to stay to explore St Agnes. The property had everything you could think of, it really was a home from home. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Barry gave us a lovely warm welcome when we arrived and gave us some great recommendations. We really look forward to returning in the future!

The Lodge is absolutely lovely. It had everything I needed in it. Mark is friendly and approachable. He left breakfast bits, shower gel and shampoo in The Lodge. Would happily stay again.

Alison's kind hospitality & welcoming was excellent & the accommodation was stunning & immaculate. If you like a quiet location it's ideal but travelling across Cornwall is no problem as main rd's are accessible from Helston. Alison gave us some good recommendations for restaurants which we tried & were delighted with.

Lovely spot just a walk from the beach. The outdoor balcony space was welcomed when the sun was shining after a long day walking. We had everything we needed! Rachel was great with recommendations and quick to respond if we had any questions or needed anything

From start to finish our stay was absolutely amazing. The view is every bit as good as the pictures. We were there in June and the sun didn’t set until 9.30pm, drinks on the patio were a nightly thing while we watched the tide come in as the sun went down. The apartment is pretty much at the top of a reasonably steep hill, but even with my knee problems I managed to go up 2 or 3 times a day. As you walk up the hill past the Seiners Arms (great pub, good food with beautiful patio). you can see Perranporth Beach in its entirety. Absolutely stunning. The town has everything you need like a Co-Op, Launderette, pubs, restaurant, beach / surf wear shops. Things do shut down earlier than we expected (around 9pm) but it was June so not peak season yet. The apartment is spacious, you come in through the back door into a large kitchen with all the appliances etc that you’d need. 2 bedrooms, a large lounge with TV. I thoroughly recommend this place. Hannah was an exceptional host too.

We had a wonderful weeks stay for our honeymoon in this lovely and peaceful place that felt just like being at home. Cara was fantastic and really helpful and communicative - completely understanding and accommodating when we found out we’d be bringing our newborn along with us too! Location is beautiful and just as described with lots of lovely places to visit whilst staying. Just the perfect stay. Thank you!

My daughter and I stayed for a few days and the apartment was perfect. Great location, very close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Apartment was clean, tidy and looked exactly like the photos. View was beautiful! Has everything you would need. Paul was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had. We had an amazing few days in St Ives and will definitely be staying at the apartment again in the future.

Second time visiting and it was just as good as the first time , we stayed for 10 nights and already want to go back . If peace and tranquility is what your looking for then this is the perfect place , great location with so many amazing destinations within 20 minutes away ( north and south coast ) . We were lucky enough to spend seven days in Beth's beautiful apartment. Now we say goodbye with a smile and a tear in our eye. The tear in our eye says "time to say goodbye," even though we don't want to leave just yet. The smile in our eye expresses our enthusiasm for our stay. We received a warm welcome; we lacked nothing. Beth has thought of everything. The apartment is a dream. And so is the view from the terrace. You could spend hours there, unwinding and watching the hustle and bustle on the beach. If you don't know Perranporth, you should definitely visit this little town. But even if you want to come back again, you should let this accommodation convince you. A big thank you to Beth and Mark.

Smashing wee place with great access for walks around the area or just exploring Penryn itself and especially handy for cafes, takeaways restaurants and good pubs. It was nice to return to somewhere I'd been before and see how it had improved since 1979!

Brilliantly located, train station nearby, which we used as well as driving, managed to explore the entire south of Cornwall, which was amazing. Hosts were welcoming and friendly and it was a joy to meet and to connect with them. Lots of recommendations were listed, places to eat, places of interest and Claudio was contactable if needed, for any questions we had. Studio cottage was perfect for our stay, beautifully converted into a perfect place to stay and explore. Kitchen was well equipped for when we wasn't eating out and the modern touches such as the filtered water tap, TV, TV app accessibility and the most amazing bathroom/shower, perfectly complemented the stunning historical feel of the studio. It was a joy to stay here and we would definitely stay here again. 🥰

My husband and I and our adult daughter had 3 wonderful days at Riverview. The photos and description on the Airbnb site are accurate but don’t really do it justice. The apartment is modern, bright with every room having a stunning view. The balcony is huge and it is bathed in sunlight up until about midday. It was a pleasure sitting on the deck having Bkfst or sitting in the evening with a drink enjoying the view and sounds of the birds. There is an allocated off road carpark. The apartment is below road level so there is a flight of stairs to go down, which could be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. The owners of the apartment live in the apartment above. We never heard them walking around. We did meet them on the street and they are an extremely friendly couple. Highly recommend the walking tour “Falmouth Uncovered” with Will. Highly informative and entertaining. Will is a real character and was the highlight of our day in Falmouth. Highly recommend “Riverview”.

We had a lovely time staying here. The flat was beautiful and cozy. Jennifer and her family were super sweet and welcoming, we also befriended their cat. The perfect place to stay if you want to explore Cornwall.
