The surrounding area has good hiking conditions both on foot, on skiing and by bike. Right outside the door there is a well-developed network of approximately 100 km of well-groomed ski slopes. There is a short distance to the alpine facilities in Trysilfjellet (25 minutes) and Sälen (35 minutes). Here you have proximity to activities for both large and small and to all seasons.

Skansen cabin field sits right at the top of Trysil Mountain. Trysil has all the attractions you can think of. In summer, mountain hiking and biking in terrain, mountains, and trails are the focus. In winter it is ski in/out to Norway's largest and best alpine skiing, as well as ski slopes right outside the door. Bike elorado in summer with the bike lift, Magic Moose and the mountain run 100 m away. Ski lodge mountain restaurant is located 150m from the cabin. Deze gezellige kleine cabin ligt erg mooi aan de rivier de Trysilelva. Een unieke combinatie van rust en op loopafstand van het dorp met winkelcentrum en restaurants. Vlakbij skigebied. De cabin werd oorspronkelijk gebruikt door houthakkers in de bossen rondom Trysil. In 1969 is de cabin verplaatst naar de huidige locatie. Zomer: Vliegvissen,golfbaan,klimpark,mountain bike trails,wandel routes. Winter: Skiën,langlaufen. Skibus op 350 meter afstand. Er is een directe (expres)bus naar Oslo.

Separate WC on first floor. Heated floors all rooms downstairs and upstairs WC. Up-scale furnitures. Fireplace. Separately accessed booth for skies, helmets etc. Parking for 2 cars. Luxury cabin in Trysil with a great view to Trysilfjellet and a short way to all amenities. The cabin is well equipped and modern. Trysilfjellet is 10 minutes by car. There is Norway's largest alpine resort. There are also Trysil Turistsenter and many restaurants. In the summer and autumn it is a perfect place for an active holiday with cycling, climbing, golfing or hiking. Trysil center has a shopping center with many shops and pharmacies.

The cabin has a cozy living room and a nice dining kitchen with room for 7 people around the table. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, hot air oven, coffee maker, induction plate, microwave, etc.

Trysiltunet- in the middle of Trysil

This apartment is in the middle of nowhere if you want many amenities within walking distance. Alpine slopes, cross country stadium, climbing park, bike lanes, golf course, swimming pool, spa, apres ski and bowling are all in the immediate vicinity. It is perfect for a large family of 6. It can get somewhat cramped with 8 adults, would not recommend as two have to share 120 cm bed.
