Park House Retreat In the heart of Norfolk broads

EllieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! We just spent a few days at The Retreat and everything was perfect. It is in a peaceful, rural location but with an excellent pub almost next door (Salhouse Lodge) which has great food and is dog friendly. We visited with our nervous dog and Mark and Marion were very accommodating of her - the private garden was also secure for her to run around in. You get a gorgeous view of the sunset from The Retreat and it’s also a great view for spotting wildlife - we saw a Little Owl and Red Kite from the garden :) You can walk from The Retreat to Salhouse Broads and we also drove to nearby beaches. Thanks for a brilliant stay!

The Hive amongst the Piggies

SophieRating, 5 starstoday
What a wonderful stay! The host, Penny, was kind and communicative-it felt like staying at a friends house! The cabin was cosy and comfortable and the quirk of having the Guinea Pigs and animals just outside was both idyllic and beautiful. Morning breakfast out in the sun with nature all around….you can’t put a price on that kind of relaxed and slow-paced morning. We met with Penny while there and chatted away. What a lovely lady and such a beautiful stay. My husband even commented on a return visit! Thank you so much. Perfect!

Pheasant Cottage

JoanneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Well another 5 Star stay at Pheasant Cottage! It's the 4th time we have stayed here and we love it. Marta is always ready to answer any questions you have so do ask her, She is very quick to reply. We used Pheasant cottage as a base to explore Norfolk more widely this year we managed to see Sutton Hoo it was on the bucket list. We also visited Cromer, Reedham( book an afternoon tea at the Post Office tea room find on FB) Sheringham and Horsey Wind Pump(NT). Pheasant Cottage is a home from home and beautifully relaxing after a busy day. Always plenty of hot water for a super shower and the bed is soooo comfy! If you find the Peacocks a little noisy check out the bedside drawers- ear plugs provided a great thoughtful addition to your stay. We're use to them now so they don't bother us.Plenty of boat trips at Wroxham and don't forget to visit Roy's store too . Thanks again for another fab stay Marta we look forward to visiting you every year. Andrew and Joanne - Sheffield

*BRAND NEW* Barn Conversion

AnneRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The barn we booked was fairly last minute, and as a group of four in such a large place we weren’t falling over each other. The barn was well equipped and very well kept, and in beautiful surroundings. We had a wonderful stay thank you

Rosie’s Retreat

SarahRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a wonder place to wake up in, surrounded by woodland, the dawn chorus was superb! Rosie's Retreat is a lovely self contained apartment. It has a well equipped kitchen and we received a delightful welcome mini hamper. There is a fabulously enjoyable sofa with snuggly blankets and a nice bathroom with a great shower. The two bedrooms have "proper" sized double beds which were so comfy! Ivan and Sam were great hosts; top communication before our visit, and Sam promptly greeted us on arrival. Brilliant stay which was topped off with one of our favourite restaurant "The Recruiting Sergeant" being just a 5 minute walk away. I would highly recommend Rosie's Retreat if you are looking for some down time with peace and tranquillity close to the Norfolk Broads. There are too many things to see and do in the area to list. Will I book again ? most definitely, without a doubt. Thank you Ivan and Sam for your hospitality. We loved it........
