The house is ideally-situated in the heart of the Anjou wine region, a few miles from Saumur (well-known for it's castle and the French National Horse-Riding School, ''Le Cadre Noir'', wine growers, and troglodytes sites). Also nearby: important castles in Angers, Chinon, Montreuil-Bellay, Brézé, as well as Europe's largest monastic center, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, which features an excellent music and cultural program. Other worthwhile day trips include the exquisite Loire Valley castles, such as: Chambord, Blois, Cheverny, Azay le Rideau, etc. The house, which is about 187 miles from Paris (300 km), or about 2 hours by TGV, can accomodate two couples with children (sleeps six altogether). The appartement includes : an entrance hall, a large sitting and dining room with a small equiped kitchen, one bedroom, a bathroom, and a small bedroom on a mezzanine level.

Charming cottage close to the city center of Chinon (5-minute walk to shops and restaurants), offering a magnificent view of the Fortress and the Vienne. The cottage is equipped with a functional kitchen, a common area with a sofa bed and a mezzanine bedroom with bathroom. The access staircase is spiral and not suitable for people with limited mobility. Ideally located to discover the region (castles and gardens, vineyards, bike rides...)

Précisons que nous avons souhaité rendre ce séjour accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite, les équipements sont adaptés.
