We had a lovely time at the cabin. S’mores were a nice touch for around the fire pit and we enjoyed the hot tub very much. Loft area was great for the family. Convenient to Yosemite. Wish we had more time to explore the lake!

Creating memories with adult children who are living their own lives can be hard to schedule. We found the perfect opportunity for a quick weekend getaway hosted by Leif. What we thought we were getting was a house big enough to host our group. What we got, was so much more! As soon as you walk into the space, you realize that the pictures you saw on the posting do not do justice to the real thing. You’re transported into another era where life slows down and you realize the simplest of things are the really important things: like family. My children especially enjoyed the opportunity to meet Leif’s animals and feed them rinds and banana peels. Peanut was the star of the show ( if you know, you know). Thank you, Leif, for a beautiful weekend that provided a much needed respite, but offered so much more than we were expecting. We can’t wait to come back and make this a family tradition though next time we will stay longer and be more prepared with our animal food supplies : )

The house was great and I'd recommend it to people looking for a jumping off point for Yosemite. Super comfy beds, great deck, enjoyable hot tub, beautiful location. Lots to love and we had a great time. A note for potential guests: The community (the Pine Mountain Lake Association) that the house is located within is currently experiencing heavy road work from 4/30/25-7/2/25. We had to wait 20+ mins to get into the neighborhood each time we came back, which was annoying to say the least. Not the fault of the airbnb host, but just FYI on expectations.

We absolutely loved the place and can’t wait to rebook! House was super spacious and beautiful location! Lots for the kids to do while the adults had a separate space to unwind! Hosts were extremely responsive and provided all of the information we needed for an enjoyable stay!

My girlfriends and I had a wonderful and restorative weekend away at Elizabeth’s cabin. We loved the decor, well stocked kitchen, and relaxing among the trees in the hot tub. Elizabeth was an excellent host and quick to respond. We also appreciated her local recommendations for wine tasting and hikes. Awesome gem in Camp Connell and would love to stay again.

Tobey’s cabin is pure magic! It's perfectly appointed, anticipating every single need, and the design is simply stunning. You can tell she has a true artist's eye, every detail is beautifully curated. She genuinely knows how to host, creating a wonderfully comfortable and welcoming escape. I personally have serious textile envy, everything from sheets, dish towels and throws are unique & high quality. We left feeling totally recharged and already brainstorming when we can come back!

This cabin was a great place to stay and unwind. The highlight for us was the hot tub which we used through out our stay and access to the private lake. The cabin was situated in a quiet area where we woke up every morning to birds chirping and the warm sun. Great amenities! Only downside was the yard had not been mowed and we could not use the fire pit at night. Other than that Will was a great host who was quick to answer questions and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Definitely will come back again

This was our second stay at Jennifer’s cabin and our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stays each time. We really appreciate the clear instructions provided, and the cozy cabin like feel is something we always look forward to. Thank you Jennifer!

Buffy & Chip's place was very homey and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with gadgets and appliances. They were very responsive to our messages and went out of their way to help us out. I would come back again, highly recommend!

We absolutely loved this cabin! It was perfect for our family of 4. My favorite moments of our stay were relaxing meals on the deck, walking among the Big Trees, and enjoying everything BLS recreation has to offer. The cabin is in a convenient location, yet feels private since it is surrounded by trees. Adam is a fantastic host- friendly, helpful, and informative. Highly recommend!

We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay with our dog. The home is a peaceful and quiet escape from the busy pace of everyday life. Surrounded by wilderness, it offered a great chance to disconnect and unwind. We even spotted a few deer in the late evening and early morning, which was such a wonderful experience! Just a couple of minor things to note: the bathroom sink was a bit farther than my wife liking due to height, and the bath towels could have been a bit cleaner. Otherwise, everything was great, and we truly appreciated the serene atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway!

Lindas A-frame is adorable!!! After traveling down from Montana, her cabin was perfect for relaxing & bed beyond comfortable. Lindas home is very accomodating...everything you need. I would definitely stay again and my family as well. Its a perfect retreat!! Very organized too!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming little cabin! Everything was spotless - the cleanliness was truly impressive, and it made the whole experience feel so comfortable and relaxing. Nestled in the heart of the forest, the cabin is surrounded by peaceful nature, tall trees, and birdsong. It felt like a perfect escape from the hustle of everyday life. Whether you're enjoying a quiet morning coffee on the porch or going for a walk in the woods, the natural beauty all around is just breathtaking. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway - highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature!

We loved staying at the sweet retreat. It was conveniently located for visiting many locations and in such beautiful surroundings. Keith was incredibly responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We had another wonderful stay at the Knotty Pine Cabin. I have lost count of how many times my family and dogs have stayed there. It always feels like coming home. The house is in a great location in Mi-Wuk - not far from a market restaurant and coffee shop. There are no other homes directly around the property so privacy is definitely a plus. With dogs it is important to have a fenced in area and safe potty area. We really like this set up. The home is well stocked with everything you need. The kitchen is especially well stocked - better than any house I have stayed in. We cook our meals every night and morning. This year we had an exceptional fishing year catching our limits of 15 fish every day. We were able to have a large fish fry on our 4th night. Having a well stocked kitchen and freezer space made this task very manageable. Coming to Pinecrest is an annual tradition for our family and we intend to exclusively stay here in the future if it is available.

The stay was absolutely amazing and was such a great place to relax as well as enjoy some of the nightly activities! There was great places within walking distance and was very peaceful

We had a fantastic weekend at this lovely house, surrounded by beautiful scenic views. Our group included three families with kids and pets, and everyone had a great time finding things to do and games to play. The hosts were incredibly responsive and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

We loved staying here! Everything is exactly like the pictures and the host was very friendly and responsive (: we stayed for a weekend and it was so peaceful being outside on the deck in the mornings and throughout the day. Saw lots of little birds and squirrels around the neighborhood. Everything was nice, clean, and easy to use or access.

The cabin is so gorgeous, very clean and equipped with all the amenities you needed for having a vacation. The place is so spotless clean plus equipped with a dryer and washer too which we are so happy because we don’t have to bring so much clothes then. Parking is big enough for at least 3 cars I think. It’s very quiet which is very good to allow us for privacy. Jessica is so accommodating and very helpful, she even allow us to check in a little bit early which we really appreciate a lot. Overall experience is Excellent. We wouldn’t mind coming back and staying in her place again. We highly recommend this place for everybody who wants a perfect place to stay for a vacation. Thank you, Jessica for letting us to stay in your beautiful, clean and quiet place!

Our family of four had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Angela’s cabin! The space is cozy, peaceful, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to unwind. Twain Harte is such a charming little town—we had a blast at the mini golf course and enjoyed some great meals at the local restaurants. Angela is a warm and welcoming host, and we truly appreciated her hospitality. We loved everything about our stay and can’t wait to return—next time in the snow!

This place was a breath of fresh air! The primary bedroom was divine, with comfy sheets and an even comfier bed. We loved our stay and all of the outdoor places to hang out. It was close to Twain Harte but still private. We will definitely stay again if we get the chance!

Truly enjoyed my stay! The cabin is incredibly beautiful and the view in the back porch is incredible. The cabin provided all necessary amenities and more including a big list of things to do. A peaceful place with scenic views. Incredibly responsive host that’s super kind, would definitely recommend!
