John was very responsive and instructions were clear. The apartment is on the third floor(staircase only) of a beautiful sea frontage character building which overlooks the promenade and lighthouse. There is a lovely park next door which was a great early morning walk as well. Restaurants , bars all nearby but area very quiet during our stay. The apartment was well fitted out, great kitchen, and comfortable beds. Definitely recommend this stay

Jean is an amazing host and definitely goes above and beyond for what she does and provides in her accommodation. You just literally need to turn up with your clothes as everything you need is supplied within the apartment. From shaving accessories to biscuits and cakes. The accommodation is set in a lovely area of Sunderland very beautiful and peaceful we didn’t hear any road noise or any noise from the neighbours it was great. I can recommend the Rosedene pub it’s about a 10min walk there is also bar at the local cricket club which is open to the public was lucky enough to catch the ending of a game during our stay. We will definitely be back to see Jean very soon we didn’t want to leave.

We had the best time staying in Shani’s place. Location couldn’t have been more perfect; really central, and since we were attending a concert whilst there, the venue was just around the corner. The apartment was spotless, and Shani was so helpful and provided us with some brilliant local recommendations. Would highly recommend staying here, and we would definitely return.

This was a very comfortable stay of 11 days for us. The apartment is spacious. clean, and feels very comfortable right from the outset. It has a well-stocked kitchen and all the amenities and appliances you will need for either a short or long stay. We did a lot of cooking ourselves, but there is also a very nice pub a short walk away. Also the bus takes you straight into the center of Durham from the pub. The area around is pleasant but there isn't much to do except walk and enjoy the countryside, which is very pleasant. The bed was comfy, and the pillows were new (although too soft for us, but thats just personal preference). Overall it was a great stay and well worth the price. The owner was helpful and communicated well, the wifi was good, and the couches comfortable. We would both return and recommend the apartment.

I visited Newcastle and surroundings, travelling by myself from mainland Europe. The apartment is clean and spacious and I loved that it's minimal yet cosy and light. If you're a bit more sensitive: the bedroom is situated on the side of a busier road. If you keep the bedroom window closed, there's no noise. I opened the window at night and used ear plugs - worked fine. At 5 minutes walking distance from metro and small shops. A 20 minute walk to a wonderful beach. Tomara was very friendly ad prompt in her communication and thinks along if you have a question. Recommend staying there!

Great location and great host! It’s a lovely place to stay for a long weekend which was walking distance to the city. The flat had a modern style and well thought out layout for a small area. All appliances were so easy to use and really had everything you needed. The host was very responsive and even phoned to let me know about early check in if I wanted it.

Lovely apartment, quiet, so cozy and had everything you need for a short stay. As a solo traveller I felt safe and comfortable. So close to the Metro with links to Newcastle City Centre and on to the airport. So handy, no need for a car. Welcome pack was a lovely touch😊

We enjoyed our stay at Mandy’s place. It was a short walk to restaurants/pubs/the coast. There was also a little convenience store less than five minutes from the flat (Spar). If we return to South Shields, we will definitely try to book here again.

Stayed at Gemma’s flat whilst visiting our sone at University. An absolutely lovely apartment in a great location. Exactly as described, immaculately clean, very comfortable beds and with everything you could possibly need. Will definitely try to stay here again when we are back in Newcastle.

Ness was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. The flat was just as expected and really nice and clean. The welcome package was a nice surprise that puts a smile on your face when you arrive. Lots of great takeaways locally and not far to walk into town or down to the beach. A really nice flat, I would defiantly stay again.

Well equipped and very comfortable flat in a quiet area close to Jesmond Dene. The kitchen was well equipped and the provision of tea , coffee etc was really generous. We had a very comfortable stay.

Stayed here with my friends for the Sam Fender gig. Great central location and very spacious accommodation which was perfect for the weekend. Jacqui is a great host, with proactive communication and clear check in instructions. Would highly recommend for larger groups staying in Newcastle!

This was my first stay at Roker apartments and it mot disappoint! It was spotless, we were well informed every step of the way, Ivan is a fantastic host and nothing is too trouble, I really hope this apartment is available on my next trip to roker!

My husband and I were visiting my son, daughter in law and their 5 month old baby who live in Heaton. My niece was with us from Canada so we wanted somewhere comfortable, with plenty to do and easy access to our son’s home. This property was the first one I looked at. It exceeded our expectations, we loved the location, parking pass provided for the weekend. Views from rooms front and back are spectacular. We especially liked walking into Tynemouth, such a lovely place with lots of cafes, restaurants and coffee shops plus independent shops which is always nice to see. As I stated before we all enjoyed the indoor market. We had a lovely weekend.

Nicely decorated apartment with everything we needed for our trip. The space was thoughtfully designed and equipped with all the essentials, making it very comfortable and convenient. The location was excellent, providing easy access to everything we needed. Friendly host too!

This place is a gem and we can’t wait to go back! Where to start…. Firstly, Tee was a fantastic host who not only had brilliant communication but has clearly put his heart into the place. The apartment was finished to a high spec with beautiful facilities. Everything was modern and fresh. Brilliant kitchen, bathroom, lounge and bedrooms! The place was immaculately clean! Comfortable beds with fresh, high quality linens. It also had extra touches, such as toiletries which made it more like a luxury hotel. The location is a cheap taxi ride into the centre or the bus is right outside the front door! You could also walk too. Parking is so easy and safe. The show stopper is definitely the hot tub!! It was perfectly hot and had a lovely private area to go with it. Not to mention a brilliant mural which provided the perfect back drop for our photos! We felt so lucky to get this place and started to plan our return on the way home. Definitely book, you won’t regret it! Thank you Tee!

This is a really lovely flat, located directly in front of Cullercoats bay. The view out of the living room bay window in the morning is absolutely fabulous. The flat feels really spacious, with two double rooms and a single. One of the double rooms is located downstairs from the main part of the flat (so at lower ground floor level), and the other is at the rear and has the en-suite. All the rooms felt nice and big and the whole place was lovely and clean. The kitchen is well provisioned with everything we needed during our stay. It's very easy to find the place, with a lockbox containing the key. Parking is available right outside, with a parking permit provided with the house. There are loads of interesting places to explore in the local area, and the beaches at Cullercoats, Longsands and Whitley Bay are great to play on. We wouldn't hesitate to come and stay here again if it's available when we next visit Tynemouth.

Loved our stay! We were able to easily commute to Newcastle city centre and also loved walking to the beach! Would highly recommend anyone to stay here
