If you’re looking for a beautiful place to stay in the midst of idyllic Skärgarden, with warm and helpful hosts and time for yourself and your family, this is the perfect spot. We stayed at this lovely accommodation for a week with our two children (aged 2 and 6). We loved the surroundings, the nature, the many excursion options, the proximity to the beach, and the easy bus connection from Stockholm. The holiday apartment is equipped with everything you need and includes many thoughtful details. Our week here was just what we needed to unwind and relax after a few bustling days in Stockholm. Anyone who goes to Karl will be able to feel the love and devotion to architecture and the resulting harmony and tranquility in every detail. We have made great excursions to the national park by bike - the sea buckthorn bud at Gålö is also highly recommended. We enjoyed the time at Karl's place very much. He was an attentive host and responded super quickly to questions. Absolutely recommended !

We had a lovely stay at Roberts and Sandra house. Everything we need was there. Great transport links in and out of Stockholm. Highly recommend.

You will need to go there to believe how truly beautiful this place is. We are a family of five and spent a wonderful week on Viggsö Island. We have never had a better host than Harry, extremely friendly, helpful, and always available! We would love to come back one time.

We stayed in Sebastian’s home at the beginning of June with our 2 & 3 year old. We couldn’t believe how beautiful the area was and loved spending most of the week outside. There are two lakes within a 10 minute walk (toddler pace) and endless other walks / hikes to other lakes & the coast. We recommend you download the all trails app for access to all the options. It’s a lovely little community, The neighbours were very friendly and happily allowed our children to use their trampoline, garden toys, play with their pets etc. His home is full of his personal history. We loved the emotional connection to Ukraine and were so moved by the photos. The grocery store a 10 minute drive away has everything you need. It took us 30 minutes to reach Stockholm by car and we found it easy to do day trips. Sebastian was very responsive, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this stay!

Gustafs place is a real gem! We would've loved to stay longer and hope to come again. the three houses offers privacy for everyone and the hot tub is lovely and there are many cool swim spots around! thanks for everything Gustaf!

We stayed with our two sons for five nights at Toms appartment and felt immediately at home. It had everything we needed, many things to visit nearby and just down the street. Tom and Sunnöve asked in advance if we feel comfortable. Our great plus was the rooftop terrace. We loved sitting there in the evening, having a glas of wine and watching the silouhette of Stockholm. Thanks for having us. Tack så mycket!

It was a great place for 3 of us. We were able to walk or take public transportation to most places.

We very much enjoyed our stay -- the location is excellent (extremely walkable, very convenient access to groceries and restaurants). Bella was very responsive - she provided recommendations and was quick to reply to any message from our party. The apartment itself is relatively small (this wasn't a surprise, but if booking be sure that you're comfortable being in close proximity with your group). Even though it is small, the apartment is charming and authentic (it is old/historic while also being tastefully updated). Good views of the Stockholm cityscape.

We stayed in this lovely Gamla Stan apartment recently for 5 nights and were very pleased with our choice. It was spacious & clean and modern fixtures with still some character features. The climb up 2 stories was ok for us carrying our luggage and on wide solid stone stairs. It was very quiet & peaceful and on a lovely cobbled (largely pedestrian) street just down the street from a famous old church. Very easy to explore Gamla Stan. Spacious bedroom and great (dark) bedroom curtains and wifi was fine. You must stay.

Magnus was an excellent communicator and his place was as described. The location was great and we walked everywhere because the weather was beautiful. We did a bike tour, the Vasa Museum, Royal Palace and ate a lot of great food! It was so nice to come back to a comfy apartment to relax. The washer/dryer was a nice benefit as we prepared for our next journey. Thank you for a great stay Magnus!

Julius’s apartment was bright, very roomy, and very comfortable! It is in a residential area directly across from a park. We enjoyed the community that came to the park on a daily basis. Beds were comfortable living room was comfortable and Julius provided some great restaurant recommendations in the guidebook he left. Overall a great stay

Had a great stay. Easy to communicate with Amina and the location was perfect for a peaceful weekend break in the big city.

Exactly as listed, great host. Good unit for our family. Vibrant neighborhood close to the public transit stops. One thing to note is that the laundry is about a 15-20 min ride away (I believe this is true for all of Sweden that laundromats are not common) - something to plan for. Deeply appreciated the noise makers and black out curtains in each bedroom as there is a lot of sunlight in the summer!

Lennart and Chicki's house is a stunning stay. The view is just amazing and sitting watching the boats go by was so calming and relaxing. it's not far to drive to Saltsjõbaden where there are restaurants and cafes and a supermarket. It's best to have a car to stay here. The fact that it's slightly off the beaten path is the thing that makes it so special. The house has everything you need - comfy beds, great shower, big outdoor area, nice kitchen. Chicki was great to communicate with. I highly recommend staying here. Thanks for the lovely stay 🙂

Brilliant host, detailed instructions and nice place. Sauna = the highlight. Nothing negative to write, everything was very flexible and pleasant communication.

Gunilla and Niklas were very responsive before and throughout our stay. Easy 45 minute drive from Arlanda. Property is lovely - all rooms are light, airy and beautifully decorated. Kitchen has all the equipment you could want. Beds are comfy. Lots of places to sit inside and out - especially the front porch, which is a suntrap with a view of the sea. Some great recommendations of places locally to visit. Plus some nice restaurants - though need a car, nothing walkable. 15 minute drive to a station (with free parking) for direct train into Stockholm (45 mins). 30 minute drive to Vaxholm where you can pick up boats to the islands. A beautiful location, we had a lovely stay.
