we had a great stay at Betty's Bungalow. The house was spacious and cozy. Had everything that we needed. Located on a beautiful peaceful Farm. Rachel and Tim were very friendly and give us good advice of places to go. the homemade banana bread that Rachel made us was a wonderful treat!

James’ place is in a quiet and peaceful location, perfect for a relaxing stay. James and Tricia were very responsive and made sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommend!

Our extended stay at Dave and Flanna’s place was outstanding! The apartment had lots of room and everything you need for a short or longer stay. The kitchen had everything required to prepare our meals and the beds were comfortable. They provided many extra touches like beach chairs and umbrellas, games and movies, extra items in the medicine cabinet and plenty of spices, etc for making a tasty meal! The views are absolutely spectacular! The place sits right in the Scuppernong River and the sunsets are truly some of the best we’ve seen anywhere. Since it’s only 45 minutes from OBX, you could easily spend the day on the beach or driving a local wildlife refuge looking for bears or birds and then return to this peaceful retreat. Dave and Flanna are very responsive to any issues that popped up and will do whatever is needed to make sure you have a great stay! We hope to one day return to stay here again!
