1845 School House in the Heart of Pultneyville

Fully renovated in the spring of 2021. According to the Pultneyville Historical Society, the first school, a small crude building, was built on this site in 1808. It burned in 1816 and was replaced by a larger schoolhouse. The cobblestone building was built in 1845 and served as a school until 1943 when the Williamson School District centralized. It is now a private residence. Notice the cobbles set at an angle. A metal bar circles the building as reinforcement — a modern addition.

There is a small cottage hidden behind the historic barn where we live and care for the animals on the farm. Our guests' privacy is paramount and the farm is yours to wander and enjoy (including the pool and tennis court) as you wish! The pool is open mid-May through Mid-September.
