Apartment holiday rentals in Union Square, San Francisco

This is definitely one of the better homes I’ve stayed at, both in SF and on Airbnb. It was super comfortable, the hosts were very responsive and accommodating to my needs, plus they had 4 things that are often overlooked by Airbnb hosts. Light switch dimmers, a full length mirror, lint rollers, and Kleenex. It might sound weird, but so many places I’ve stayed at have omitted a full length mirror and tissues. It’s the little things like this which I appreciate in a vacation rental. The location is great; right on the park and close to 24th with amazing food options. I’ve stayed in so many Airbnbs with frankly, weird idiosyncratic features that definitely do not take the needs of guests in consideration. Like narrow, dark entrances, problematic locks, etc. But you can tell that Rebekah cares about her guests’ comfort and considers how we use the space. Highest recommendations!!

I had a fantastic stay here. Everything was clean and it was a really nice setup. Great location if you want to walk to Oracle Park or Chase Center for a game. The grocery store is 100 feet away. The apartment is secure/safe and super easy to get into. The staff is really nice and helpful. I enjoyed it here!

Clean, comfortable, and close to my work office. Perfect for an overnight or multi-night stay with excellent coffee nearby. Best shampoo, conditioner, and body wash!

Adorable place with a stunning view. So relaxing. Bed was super comfy. The deck was the most perfect place to sit and relax, listen to the ocean. I want to spend every weekend here! So worth it. One of my favorite stays so far for sure.

We loved our stay! My husband and I will definitely check availability next time we visit San Francisco. The location was fantastic for local restaurants but also easy to venture further due to being close to Muni bus routes. We miss it already!

I really enjoyed staying at Jacqui's place. The location is great, just a block from so many restaurants, shops, and wonderful walking trails through Golden Gate Park. Even though it's in the middle of everything, the apartment is very quiet and the backyard garden is so beautiful and peaceful. I just returned home today and am already looking forward to my next visit at Jacqui's!

The place was as pictured. Small but neat, clean and functional. They provided lots of local suggestions in email upon arrival. Entry was thru the garage which was stated up front but we would stay there again. The yard was big and nice. The kitchen was small with minimal kitchen supplies compared with other AIRBNBs where we have stayed. None of the usual coffee-tea and spices, but we bought what we needed at nearby stores. We would stay there again even with the knowledge the kitchen is not a highlight.

I am so grateful for my stay in Dylan And Alex's place! It was clean, safe, quiet, easy to check in, and easy to check out. I was able to walk everywhere - grocery, restaurants, and all types of stores within walking distance. Dylan and Alex are so friendly and proactive to be helpful. I hope to stay here again on my next visit! Thank you Dylan! Thank you Alex! What a great stay!

This was the perfect accommodations for our family! The kids loved the toys, and the apartment was well stocked. The location and access to public transportation was unbeatable!

I've stayed at many nice Airbnbs, but Michael's place was different. It has all the things I value most: a gracious, friendly and helpful host, a prime location in a great neighborhood and a well-equipped, comfortably furnished clean space. But Michael's house has something else: an owner who has put all of themselves into a house they offer to the public. It is clear that this entire building has been well-loved during the 20 years that Michael has owned it. It was truly a special pleasure to be able to enjoy it, if only for a few nights.

Excellent airbnb in the heart of the Castro. Lovely outdoors patio and very comfortable bed. I'd highly recommend staying here for anyone who wants a city retreat.

Vera’s place was great - just as advertised, plus it has access to a nice outdoor area just out the back door. There was a tiny amount of noise from upstairs guests but not late into the night. Moreover, Vera went out of her way to make sure I could pick up some items I’d left in the unit. I greatly appreciate this - thanks Vera!

We parked up at the accommodation and used plentiful public transport all day which made it very relaxing. The apartment had everything we needed and we would happily stay again. Alice was very responsive and helpful. Thanks!

We loved our stay at Jan’s place in Berkeley. The space was great for our trip. We absolutely loved the deck and hot-tub. We spent most evenings sitting out there for hours! You also can’t beat the views of the bay! Overall, such a wonderful stay, we would for sure go back and recommend to all our friends and family.

OMG, so I travel a lot and when I say a lot i mean like it can be more 2 or 3 times for the month sometimes. This has been one of my best stays in a very long time. CLEAN, LOVELY hotel employees , convenient to everywhere I needed to be and good food. Thank you so much.....I WILL BE BACK!!!!!

Ria was a phenomenal host. In addition to having a comfortable and clean place, she was super attentive. I stayed at her apartment for my wedding weekend and she went out of her way to add a few details to make our weekend extra special

I loved Albina's place. It was so perfect for what we were looking for. It was cute, easy to find, easy parking and just so lovely. The highlight was the view. The bedroom window looked out to the city and the ocean. We never even turned the TV on since the view from the bed was just spectacular. We literally just watched the ocean and boats going by as the sunset before our eyes. The moon then came out and we went to bed just staring out at the sky. I hope to be able to stay here again. It was such a magical retreat.

We absolutely loved everything about Eurydice's space. So elegant in its simplicity, and clearly prioritizing coziness and livability. She's thought of so many touches that made it all the more welcoming: extra throws and blankets, a fan and heater in the closet in case you need a temperature adjustment, a night light in the bathroom, super comfy seating and bed. All this set in a gorgeous garden that's very convenient to public transportation and very walkable to boot. On top of all that, Eurydice was a great host: very responsive, warm, and welcoming, even though I never ran into her while we were there. This place really felt like home away from home, and the most difficult part was getting myself to leave! :)

Shea’s place was beautiful and spacious for our family of 5. Check in was easy and Shea was very responsive to all my questions about the home and neighborhood. We took full advantage of the backyard with hot tub and ping pong when we needed a break from sightseeing. There was a fair amount of noise from neighbors and the street in the front of the house. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

This was the perfect location for all my plans and more! I was so pleased that I stayed an extra night! I will definitely be back! 10/10 ✨
