We loved our stay at Mariana and Jonas’s peaceful farm just 15 minutes from the Stockholm airport—perfect for our family of five before our flight. Jonas was a wonderful host, showing us the horses, chickens, and even a runestone! Fresh eggs were a lovely touch. He also recommended a great lakeside restaurant in an old factory. A sunny, memorable end to our trip—highly recommend!

Wonderfully quiet, idyllic location! We were very happy to use the private jetty.. The beds were comfortable, the furnishings of the house super authentic.. in general, we felt very, very comfortable!!

Staying at this lakeside house by Kroksjön was an exceptional experience. The cleanliness was impeccable everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. The fireplaces were a highlight. Both the traditional wood-burning and modern styles created a warm, cozy atmosphere in the evenings a perfect way to unwind in the middle of nature. The private hot tub overlooking the lake was absolutely amazing. Soaking in the warm water while surrounded by peaceful nature was incredibly relaxing and added a special touch to the whole experience. The house is surrounded by pure nature, peaceful, serene, and filled with the calming sound of birdsong. Wallbox charger for our electric car was a major convenience. Highly recommended.

Perfect summer house to escape city life! Highly recommended for those seeking a slow, relaxing lifestyle. The hosts, Jack and Maria, are incredibly warm and welcoming. Their small dog adds even more charm. They were generous and helpful—solving issues like extra mattresses, showing us how to use the sauna, offering fresh vegetables from their garden, and even helping when we had trouble getting back to the cabin. The location is convenient: you can take a bus to Orminge Centrum (with Systembolaget, Willy’s, etc.), and the SL ferry is just 700m away, taking you to Slussen or Vaxholm. The lake is only a 5-minute walk away. Best for people who want to enjoy cabin life and take it slow.🥰 My mistake: I had my family stay here but planned daily trips to Stockholm, which made them tired. Also, with lots of luggage, Bolt rides were costly and hard to book. It’s not that close to the city—either take 3 buses (~1 hr) or walk 700m to the ferry (~1 hr total), with limited schedules.

Fabulous location , we walked everywhere . Real old town building with original features ,beautiful old stone stairwell to top ,78 steps . Loved our time there . Stockholm is a beautiful city . Hosted by Bella very quick to respond very helpful thank you.

We stayed in this lovely Gamla Stan apartment recently for 5 nights and were very pleased with our choice. It was spacious & clean and modern fixtures with still some character features. The climb up 2 stories was ok for us carrying our luggage and on wide solid stone stairs. It was very quiet & peaceful and on a lovely cobbled (largely pedestrian) street just down the street from a famous old church. Very easy to explore Gamla Stan. Spacious bedroom and great (dark) bedroom curtains and wifi was fine. You must stay.

Magnus was an excellent communicator and his place was as described. The location was great and we walked everywhere because the weather was beautiful. We did a bike tour, the Vasa Museum, Royal Palace and ate a lot of great food! It was so nice to come back to a comfy apartment to relax. The washer/dryer was a nice benefit as we prepared for our next journey. Thank you for a great stay Magnus!

Bjorn place is perfect for short/medium length stays in Uppsala. The apartment is nicely located with respect to public transportation and you can also easily walk to the city center. the flat is equipped, especially the kitchen.

Julius’s apartment was bright, very roomy, and very comfortable! It is in a residential area directly across from a park. We enjoyed the community that came to the park on a daily basis. Beds were comfortable living room was comfortable and Julius provided some great restaurant recommendations in the guidebook he left. Overall a great stay

A stunning spacious apartment in a central but quiet location - what more could anyone want! Marie is a great host, very responsive and helpful.

I would have given 6 stars if it was available. We had been traveling Scandinavia for the last couple of weeks and Oliver and his father’s spot was easily our favorite. He was very accommodating and helpful. We had bad weather a couple of days and he did everything he could to make it up to us. Went above and beyond in every aspect. I even got to catch some Swedish fish in their lake! He set the boat in and had fishing poles. I hope I get to go back some day!

The space is a dream. From a very tastefully furnished apartment you can see the sea. The apartment lacks nothing, the kitchen is well equipped, and we felt very comfortable. On the large terrace, there is furniture for eating and sunbathing and the opportunity to barbecue. The accommodation is exceptional and very beautiful. Hanna and Jonas are great landlords who are very eager to make sure everything is taken care of from the start. The surroundings are also very attractive. Whether the surrounding islands, the nearby sea, nature or the ferry pier within walking distance, which connects you to Stockholm in just under an hour, there is plenty to do. We highly recommend the accommodation and we would come back anytime.

Frida was fantastic both before and throughout our stay. Responded quickly and was always flexible with our wishes. The house was beautifully located and had everything you wanted for a girls' weekend. Would love to come back here another time.

Had a great stay, was a very private feel. Host responded very quickly and was accommodating to requests. Cleaning instructions could have been clearer but overall great communication.

Birgitta’s house is absolutely beautiful! Both the house and the backyard, not to mention the views over the fields are just stunning. All of us staying were blown away by the historic charm and abundance of space - we would love to come stay again!

Lennart and Chicki's house is a stunning stay. The view is just amazing and sitting watching the boats go by was so calming and relaxing. it's not far to drive to Saltsjõbaden where there are restaurants and cafes and a supermarket. It's best to have a car to stay here. The fact that it's slightly off the beaten path is the thing that makes it so special. The house has everything you need - comfy beds, great shower, big outdoor area, nice kitchen. Chicki was great to communicate with. I highly recommend staying here. Thanks for the lovely stay 🙂

We had a wonderful stay in this fantastic villa with a famtastic outdoor space to relsx in and chill. We spent 2 days in the villa enjoying the pool and garden, cooking, chatting and relaxing. We even had a swim at ghe nearby beach. The decor was stylish and the ambient relaxing. The beds were very comfortable, which was a plus.. It was in walking distance to the pier to take the ferry to Stockholm and in the evenings we took an Uber back. I would certainly recommend a stay here. Annika was very helpful and flexible with the checking check out times, as we all flew in from different countries at different times
