Monthly Rentals in Utuado

Alvin's property was squeaky clean and comfortable. The surrounding views are breathtaking! I was worried about lack of AC on an island, but there was no need for it. The mountain breeze comes in through the windows if opened. So does the sound of the birds which is spectacular and so calming. I loved this place and would recommend it 100%.

I just stayed one night due to my schedule and would love to be back for a longer stay. It had been raining a lot so I could hear the rushing water from the creek just down the hill, a great backline for the coqui and nighttime critters singing along. I’d been in Utuado for a few days and staying here, sleeping outside was the perfect last night in mountains. The shower was easy to heat up and so amazing at night with the jungle sounds and rain still falling through the trees. The toilet was very clean. I didn’t use the kitchen area much but I could see that it was clean and well kept.

We loved our stay here! The view and experience from the balcony are breathtaking - cooking and lounging on the hammocks out there was so peaceful and amazing. It was so amazing falling asleep to the sounds of nature. Warm and sunny during the day, nice and cool in the mornings and at night. We had no problems with bugs/mosquitoes/wildlife despite how immersed in nature the home is, maybe because of the altitude and cooler mountain weather. Grisel and Pancho were incredibly kind, our Puerto Rican grandparents :) we will be happy to come stay here again! Much love to you two!

We had a great stay at Mi Casita! Nelson greeted us at the door and was very helpful. We loved to hear the sounds of the Coquis, made the one night stay very peaceful! Nelson was kind enough to offer us some coffee on our way out. Don’t hesitate booking Mi Casita!
