The house can be reached via easy roads to drive, close to Uvita and within walking distance to the beach.

Casa Viva Barrel is a barrel-shaped cottage which provides a novel experience while staying connected to the rich Costa Rican feel and ambiance. The cottage also has a notable craftsman feel where the carpenters took great attention to detail from the shape of the structure to the hand-made furniture, and round-shaped windows that were all custom designed for a truly unique and comfortable experience. There are very few available homes in Uvita that have such quality and beautiful construction, and are so close to the beach. Walk to restaurants, beach/National Park. Paved roads/easy access.

Just a 10-minute drive from Uvita and a 7-minute drive from Playa Hermosa. A very private, cozy and quiet place to relax and enjoy nature!

A beachfront house for 4 people, LA BARCAROLA is set in beautiful Ballena Marine Park. The ideal place to enjoy Nature at its fullest: surrounded by huge trees, visited daily by monkeys and toucans. Whales and dolphins will show off right in front certain months of the year. IMPORTANT: please consider the driving time from San José: 4 hours. For their safety, we ask our guests to arrive before sundown. the roads are in good state, but not well illuminated.

Reserve the early evenings for spectacular sunsets. The pool is private. A 4x4 car is highly recommended.
