Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Uzès

Five stars all around. Communication with Florence was excellent. We asked for a better Weber grill and a brand new one was provided immediately. House is full of character, village is charming. Bakery in the center of town has closed, but there is another bakery further down the road. Small grocery store in the center of town. Second floor (third floor North American) bedrooms could be an issue for those with mobility issues as the stone staircases are steep with only a rope to hang onto. Pulling out onto the road from the property requires assistance to make sure the way is clear. All in all, we would return in a heart beat.

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette belle maison. La maison est très bien équipée, et était parfaite en terme de taille pour 4 couples et 3 petits. Nous avons également bien profité du bel extérieur et de l'immense piscine au calme. Et encore merci à Audrey et son mari pour leur accueil et leurs conseils.

Our family of 5 had the most wonderful stay at this charming farmhouse on a quiet street near the village of Gordes. La Bastide des As is absolutely beautiful, blending rustic charm with chic decor and modern amenities. The house is spacious and cozy, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the lovely pool and outdoor dining areas- perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the surrounding villages. Sophie was truly amazing. She was incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and going out of her way to make our stay special. She sent us advance recommendations on activities, dining, vineyards and shopping. Her warm hospitality really added to the experience. It’s a lovely place for anyone looking to unwind in the heart of Provence—a perfect combination of tranquility and modern comforts. We can’t wait to return!

Florence ist eine großartige Gastgeberin. Bereits vor der Anreise versorgte sie uns zeitnah mit allen notwendigen Informationen. Vor Ort hat alles perfekt geklappt. Florence ist unglaublich nett und herzlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist ein Traum: ein kleines Stück vom Paradies! Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiter und würden ohne zu Zögern 10 Sterne vergeben, wenn das möglich wäre.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der "Hühnerstall" war der perfekte Ort um zu entspannen. Der Pool ist großartig und hat und geholfen mit dem heißen Wetter klarzukommen. Der Eingangsbereich bietet eine sehr private Sitzgelegenheit. Die Schlafzimmer unter dem Dach werden im Sommer recht warm, aber mit etwas "Wärme Management" und wenn man später ins Bett geht, ist das gut erträglich. Wir können den Ort empfehlen und kommen wieder, wenn wir in der Gegend sind.

Magical!! Andy and Jess have an absolutely beautiful place that embodies what Airbnb is all about! The decor is well thought out and gorgeous with beautiful French antiques and comfy furniture. The yard was massive with a perfect swimming pool, big grassy area, and places to sit in the shade. We made dinner one evening and sat and chatted with our host which was probably one of our favorite nights. Andy was so warm and welcoming and gave us lots of tips for cute towns and markets. The animals were the happiest pets I’ve ever met and it was fun to hang out with the 2 sweet dogs and friendly cat. Can’t say enough good things about this property. You can feel the soul of it as soon as you enter and I only wish we’d had more time here on our trip through France. Thank you Andy and Jess for your hospitality!

Our stay at Ludovic’s home was absolutely wonderful. The house was beautifully appointed and had everything we could possibly need—and more. It was peaceful, thoughtfully designed, and full of heart. We especially loved the rich history of the home and how it had been in Ludovic’s family for generations; it added such a meaningful and authentic touch to our experience. Ludovic was incredibly gracious with his time, offering quick and helpful responses throughout our stay. I’ve truly never stayed anywhere that felt so much like home. Leaving was harder than I expected… I think a little piece of my heart stayed behind. Thank you again for your warm hospitality. We hope to return someday.

excellent séjour , logement incroyable en terme de confort et de goût , seul bémol le bruit du moteur du jacuzzi mais bon ça n'empêche pas d'en profiter pleinement, je recommande vivement

Great place in the center of Montpellier, spacious, very nicely decorated, with books and toys for every age (especially if you are a family with children), nice kitchen and bathroom, good beds. The hosts are also very friendly and responsive, would definitely recommend to others.

Nous avons vécu une parenthèse inattendu chez Cinthia. Le moindre détail est pensé pour notre bien être. Nous avons passé de bons moments de partage et de rires. Nous avons découvert pleins d'appareils de détente qu'on peut facilement acheter. Nous n'avons pas pu tout essayer en 3 jours, c'est trop court. Nous reviendrons, c'est obligé.

Amaury’s place was stunning and in a great location. The beds were comfortable, the apartment was spacious and clean and it was easy to find and walk from the station. Amaury was responsive and helpful throughout. Would recommend.

Pour les Amoureux de Nature je recommande vraiment le logement de Françoise et Serge. Très paisible et confortable. Nous remercions Françoise et Serge pour les petites attention fraises et abricots, délicieux.

Charmant gîte cosy aménagé avec goût, très bien équipé, propreté impeccable, literie confortable. Configuration parfaite pour un couple. Les hôtes sont chaleureux, l'accueil et la réactivité sont impeccables et de bonnes recommandation. Fort bien situé, il est à la fois facile de rejoindre Bagnols pour les commerces tout en étant en pleine nature avec plein de randonnées possibles toutes proches et de beaux sites à visiter. Gros plus pour le poêle avec le bois fourni, les flambées sont réconfortantes à la froide saison. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour entre magnifiques randonnées et repos au coin du feu.

Jerome et sa femme ont été super. ils ont décoré le logement pour la nuit de noce avec ma femme (pétales de roses, lumière, ballons, etc...) Tout était parfait, rien à dire. Je recommande largement en fermant les yeux 🥰

Just stayed in this beautiful villa with a group of friends for my 60 th birthday and we had an amazing stay. The villa is absolutely fabulous, gorgeous inside and the pool area and exterior are just wonderful. The backdrop of the Luberon cliffs just adds to a great location. From the beginning, the hosts Fabio and Pierre could not have been more helpful, they recommended lovely restaurants, additional bike hire options, a great chef who cooked us an amazing dinner one night, local walks and options for other activities and local villages to visit - too much to fit in to a long weekend so we will definitely have to return again! I had a very memorable weekend so thank you again, you have a very special place! Sally

We loved our stay at Villa feijoa. Olivier and Sophie are warm, kind and responsive hosts and their home is extremely comfortable. The grounds are spacious and well kept, with plenty of room for the family. The location is private yet close to neighbouring villages and the canal for walks, and the hosts recommended some lovely spots for us. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this fabulous home.

Die Atmosphäre dort ist wirklich toll. Es ist sehr ruhig und gefühlt mitten in der Natur. Trotzdem sind die großartige Bäckerei, ein kleiner Supermarkt und ein nettes Restaurant in fünf Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Vintage-Stil der Ausstattung und der Garten mit zwei Terrassen und Pool machen den Aufenthalt perfekt. Der Pool ist sogar größer, als er auf den Bildern aussieht. Lézan ist sehr dörflich aber gut als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge geeignet. Die Tipps und Hinweise von Fabrice waren sehr hilfreich. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und es gibt alles, was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Unbedingt den Bio-Winzer nebenan besuchen und Wein kaufen!

Fab place, great social spaces for our group. The location was gorgeous. Lisa was very accommodating and let us check in two hours early and communicated well throughout. We all enjoyed our stay at the house and thought it was very reasonably priced. The parking area is very tight behind the gate if you’re driving a large people carrier, so takes a little while to park, but still serves its function well. A neighbour dealt with us during our stay - only speaks French - so good to keep this in mind if you don’t have a member / speak French yourself. Luckily one of our party spoke French, so it was fine. The neighbour wasn’t very warm but definitely didn’t take away from a beautiful place in a gorgeous village and a great stay. It was clean, the pool and games were fab, and the BBQ was brilliant. Definitely recommend the local cafe / pub for drinks in the evening too, it’s gorgeous!

Eight of us stayed here (family, including young children). We loved it, and there's lots to do - After swimming many times, in the very smart pool, you then need to box tick everything else - jump on the trampoline, play petanque (they've got a great set up), walk around the grounds (they're big) and admire all the trees and wildlife (a Hoopoe bird enjoyed the garden, and we enjoyed seeing it, as they are rare to see in the UK), have meals in the 3 or 4 dining areas, play board and card games and watch Roland Garros on TV (if your there in May/ June!) ..in the TV room with a wine cellar vibe. Uzes (15 mins away) is a beautiful mini Avignon, and we also enjoyed visiting and swimming at Sautadet waterfalls/ river, and next to Pont Du Gard as well. A beautiful property / Highly recommended!

This house and the surrounding grounds are amazing. This was the most impressive AirBnB we have ever stayed in. We stayed here for one week for a family gathering. It is as big (or bigger) than the pictures show. The house is beautiful and modern. The grounds are spectacular. They even have 8 small tortoises on the premises which the kids loved to feed. The pool is huge. You feel like you are on the grounds of a palace. Additionally, Najet and her husband were extremely friendly, kind and helpful. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay in the south of France.
