Guests have access to fishing and a campfire by the lake. Fishing rods can be rented, and bait can be bought. Wood can be purchased on site. Enjoy lovely evenings in peace and quiet around the campfire or take a paddle ride with the kayak or SUP board with associated life jackets that belong to the cabin. 5 km from the cabin you will find Kalvåg city center with grocery store, restaurant and other activities.

On this former small farm you can enjoy the silence with sheep and sometimes deer close to the cottage. The new cottage is located a few minutes from the majestic sea cliff Hornelen. The area offers very good fishing opportunities and hiking in the woods and mountains. There is a folder in house with information, description and maps of the different hikes, trips and activities).

You may be lucky to see a flock of sperm whales in the fjord, or see eagles and deer. Rovdefjorden is a busy fjord for both large and small boats, as well as cruise ships on their way to/from Geiranger. The cabin is located 20 m from the lake, where there are good fishing opportunities (rod). Steep rocks and shallow depths. We have life jackets available.

The cabin is the former farmhouse, and has its own unique style. It is equipped with everything you need, apart from the exceptional luxury. We live in the main house on the same property. Surrounded with magnificent nature, a quiet place, the sea less than 200 meters away. No mass tourism here! It’s a perfect place to stay if you plan one of the many hikes in Bremanger e.g. the Hornelen (Via Ferrata expected opening in 2023), Vedvika and many more as well as visiting beautiful beaches.
