B&B Umberto 33

Really enjoyed staying with Giovanni. He gave us ggod instructions where we could park for free and welcomed us with a taste of a speciality wine from his wine shop. Room was fine, since we were lucky to have a room away from the road. Furniture has seen better days, but was fine enough for us. Really enjoyed that Giovanni had breakfast with us and we could here a lot more about the current situation in his town. He also gave us many recommendations. Best to dig out your French or Italian if you really want to find out more.

Wonderful Italy | Borgo Le Niche - Clio

We had a fantastic stay — perfect for a young family. The shallow paddling area in the pool was a real winner with young children, and being up in the hills made it feel cooler and calmer in late May. The place itself is much more modern than the photos suggest (as others have said), with a clean, fresh feel throughout. The hosts were great — welcoming, helpful, and spot-on with local tips (including the nearest supermarket). Kitchen had some tupperware, which was useful. Quiet, well set up, and full of thoughtful touches — easily five stars.

Cottage in the vineyard 10 minutes from Caltagirone

Such a beautiful place to start our Sicilian adventure in! Stunning view from a generous veranda, everything you need in the very private house, and Gianfranco was a lovely host. The communication was great from start to finish. When I messaged to confirm exactly what time we would get there, which was late due to our flight, he very kindly organised a light meal to be waiting for us. All the products were fantastic, paired beautifully with his wine! An absolute gem of a place! We spent many happy hours walking in the local forest and driving around the beautiful countryside.

Anticamenta cottage centro Sicilia

An absolute dream of a home in the Sicilian countryside, secluded but not remote, with the sound of pigeons cooing and swallows swooping through the air. The pool is beautifully maintained and perfectly sited for taking a dip in the full sun or an evening swim with the colored lights showing the way. The house itself is grand but cozy, filled with tasteful and interesting antiques, welcoming furniture, and comfortable beds, along with A/C (although the stone house remains pretty cool without it). We were only able to be there for 4 nights but easily could have stayed for weeks. Exactly the kind of gem that AirBnB was built for.
