Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Vancouver

Laura's place is central to everything. Her home was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Laura had great communication and she recommended some places that we ended up visiting on our trip. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful and her neighbors were friendly. We would def be staying here again! Thank you, Laura!

The house was as described. Check in was smooth. I did not realize there was no AC at the house and the day we arrived it was in the high 80’s with the sun beaming through two of the rooms. The sun doesn’t set until 9pm in June. I asked Julie if she can bring more portable fans since there were only 2 at the house. She was able to bring 2 more later that day. I was so grateful for that. The rest of the stay was not as hot, so sleeping with the windows open was no issue. There’s plenty of parking in the street. It’s walking distance to some food, dessert shops, and parks which is great. It was easy to go in and out which worked out great since we had 3 infant/toddlers who needed their naps. It’s not too far of a drive from Richmond or Vancouver.

The place was beautiful and even better than the photos. Bigger than it looks. Everything was well stocked and pristine, but also felt homey and welcoming. The host was excellent: treats were left on the table, she gave us some fresh milk, and she readily worked with our slight schedule change at the last minute. She was easy to communicate with. Instructions were very clear and we had no hiccups with the place at all. Will 100% be trying to stay here every time we’re in Vancouver.

Andrew’s place was incredible in every aspect. The aesthetics were charming and the cleanliness was impeccable. It is obviously not just a quick buck for this owner. The pride shows in the quality of everything, from the furnishings, decor, beautiful plants, lighting, heated floors in the bathroom, and the well stocked kitchen. I used the washer/dryer knowing my clothes were safe, and appreciated the lemon water and the handy snack. Thanks for the great experience, Andrew. This has been the best! Highly recommended.

Great location, loved walking the neighborhood and parking was easy. Sauna before bed was an extra treat

Pamela’s luxury retreat exceeded expectations. It was absolutely beautiful. The extra effort in hospitality and touches like upgraded bathroom amenities, quality snacks anything you could imagine was above and beyond anything we’ve experienced at a rental property. We have stayed in several luxury properties across the globe and this one is top shelf. It felt very private and was very quiet. The hosts were delightful and very respectful. Fort Langley is a lovely little town with outstanding restaurants and fun activities. We will most definitely book again!

When you walk into this apartment you are greeted with the most stunning view. Just incredible! The apartment is modern but cozy, and equipped with everything we needed for a restful, enjoyable break. My daughter slept on the comfortable sofa bed, and loved waking to the view. It is only a short drive to shops and restaurants. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thanks Sarah.

The location is beautiful, the property is very clean and comfortable. Good location, close to Vancouver city but doesn't feel like your in a big city and it's convenient to everything. Good communication with Mark. Lots of dining options easily walkable from the property. I highly recommend you consider staying at Marks property for your next visit to the Vancouver area!

We feel fortunate to have been able to stay in this North Van apartment. The space is roomy and comfortable and the house manual had some handy recommendations. Also, there is great coffee downstairs. The location is in a super nice neighbourhood community with Lonsdale St within easy walking distance. The host Brad is a very helpful and interesting guy. Highly recommended.

My wife and I were in Vancouver for a conference and stayed at Linda’s place for five days. It was a fantastic experience — the space was cozy and felt just like home. Linda was a proactive and thoughtful host, even upgrading the recliners during our stay, which we really appreciated. The neighborhood is charming and peaceful, yet conveniently close to downtown. We’d gladly stay here again in the future.

I had a great time staying at the garden suite! Everything was beautiful, private, cozy and clean. My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time, the location was great and close to Kitsilano beach and restaurants! Sarah is a great host!

My wife and I were in Vancouver for three days on a short side trip from a family reunion in Gig Harbor, WA. John's place is a great location, especially if you like to walk. It is located close to many dining/drinking establishments, a stop for the hop on/hop off bus, walking to shopping, waterfront and Stanley Park. Our only issue was not enough drawer/storage space for clothing (we travel with a lot of clothes). The free secure parking space is a great benefit. Overall, this is a great location. We would stay again and recommend to others.

Perfect Kitslano Beach location with a showcase window overlooking both beach, bay and mountains beyond. Looking out at all the activity was better than watching tv ! Well kept apartment with all the facilities you would need for a short break. Good transport links and easy to get into town whilst ideal for walks along the bay front. Communication with host was easy and very responsive to any queries. I’d highly recommend as a lovely place to stay and enjoy the delights of Vancouver.

I enjoyed this Airb&b because it had easy access to public transportation, if you wanted to travel around Vancouver whether that was in the North, West, Downtown, or a quick walk. Sylvia-Anne left a folder for us with clear instructions or if we needed anything, she provided food recommendations without me asking and I have to say Andrew’s was 10/10 locals only coffee shop. If I ever go to Vancouver again, I would stay here if there’s availability.

Wonderful home in a beautiful neighborhood! Super close walk to the park, and good distance to both downtown and the ferry terminal. Host was flexible with our check-in time so we didn’t have to worry about arriving a few minutes early. Would stay again!

Sophia was a wonderful host and communicated very well. The basement suite is nestled in the woods along a beautiful tree line and creek, tended to with spectacular flowers. The neighborhood is calm, quiet, and private though a bit removed from local amenities (supermarket ~20 min walk with hills, playground ~15 min walk with hills); we called uber/lyft for most things but having a car would have been ideal. The suite was clean, comfortable, and highly functional for our group. The living areas and bedrooms were spacious and there are 2 bathrooms which is a HUGE win. We loved sitting on the back patio on the lounge furniture, underneath their electric heater, listening to the birds and the creek passing by. If there is one con you need to be aware of here, it is the lack of proper kitchen: expect a small mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, water-boiler, keurig, utensils, and cups; we knew about this ahead of time and still felt like we got all our value from our stay.

We had the most amazing stay at Vahid's place! Communication with Vahid was easy, and he always responded quickly. His house is tricky to find, but he sent us detailed driving instructions including photos of the potentially confusing drive, which was greatly helpful. Everything about the house is as described, but the VIEWS! Even seeing the listing online, we still weren't prepared for the jaw dropping views from the house. Just about every room has an amazing view of the water, and there are expansive balconies and terraces to walk around and enjoy the water views from too. The cherry on top was how kind Vahid is. He made us feel very welcome, supplied us with some essentials in the refrigerator, and was very understanding when we thought we had lost our keys! (We eventually found them.) We have nothing but rave reviews about Vahid and his house, and we hope we can make it back to stay again sometime.

We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. Great location, lots of space, three king sized beds, two separate living room spaces, and a very well-appointed home. There are lots of instructions to guide newcomers to the home, and the neighborhood is nice and quiet with lots of parking space right in front. Alice was always very attentive from the moment we booked to when we checked out. We would definitely return.

My favorite part about staying with May was the personal touches, such as a welcome sign with my name on it. What was even more touching was the surprise wedding gift (I was staying at the airbnb leading up to my wedding). There are a few tiny details I personally would prefer to be different but upon bringing them to the hosts attention they were receptive and considerate of what I had to say.
