Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Vancouver Island

My young daughter and I stayed at Renay’s for four nights. Our spacious bedroom had a view of the beautiful garden outback. A delicious breakfast of granola, yogurt, and fresh fruit awaited us in the common room every morning. Renay was happy to offer suggestions of places to visit on the island. I would highly recommend Renay’s if you are looking for a peaceful and comfortable place to stay while on Gabriola.

Right from the beginning our stay at Brigitte's beautiful place was amazing. She greeted us with coffee/tea and a freshly baked good, lemon cake if I'm not mistaken. She shared many great places to explore and was very responsive to every request we made. And the breakfast spread, I was in heaven. I have to say, this was the best Airbnb stay I have ever had. Definitely will recommend to friends and will return! Thank you so much Brigitte for making our visit so special

Paphada and Dieter maintain a beautiful bed & breakfast inn, gorgeous views of the bay were made better with the surprising knowledge that we were staying within a bird sanctuary. It was super cool to see all the wildlife, from the comfort of a cool, spacious room with a generous patio perfect for early morning coffee, or late night stargazing. Would certainly come back. Great place

First time using AirBnB and Rose’s place did not disappoint. We only stayed for a night but she made sure that she made us feel welcome. A very cozy and charming house. Would definitely stay here again!

This was one of my favourite Air BnB experiences. Alice made us feel right at home. The place is nestled in a beautiful forest by a river, and the drive from the main road is just magical! The room is just off the family home but that was not an issue at all as it’s very peaceful and quiet and in fact, we felt like spoiled guests! Alice’s breakfasts are incredible - highly recommended. And we appreciated all the extra efforts the family went to to make us at home, including setting up the BBQ for us and giving us access to the hot tub. It’s only 20 mins drive from Squamish so the fact there was no kitchen didn’t bother us too much. Would definitely return!

We hadden slechts kort verblijf bij Frieda. Kamer had een eigen badkamer. En toen we aankwamen kreeg dochter van 4 meteen speelgoed om nog even buiten mee te spelen. We bleven maar 1 nachtje, we zijn op doorreis. Helaas vertrokken we al heel vroeg voor ontbijttijd. Frieda had een taxi voor ons gebeld. Top geregeld. Een prima verblijf.

the location is great, 10 m walking from down town and Beacon hill park, 20 mn from the beach. the room is comfy and really nice. the host are really welcoming but will let you have your own space.

Claudia’s place was so beautiful and peaceful. David and I enjoyed the seats by the pond and loved feeding the goats and alpacas. Claudia was very friendly and inviting. Her breakfast was delicious and David enjoyed the cup of coffee while sitting outside watching the birds. We would recommend staying at Claudia’s place.

This is our second time staying at her lovey place. Definitely recommended. Thank you for the complimentary breakfast, snacks & water. We appreciate it a lot. We would definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you so much Cindy.

This was the perfect place to stay while cruising through the San Juans. Laura made us feel so welcome and the story of the boat and its history made the stay even better still. Probably the most unique B&B I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay in. It made the perfect way to finish off our trip. Thank you Laura and Eric for a wonderful stay.

Convenient location and friendly host!

My wife and I booked 2 nights away for our anniversary and let me tell you, the Pointhouse Bed and Breakfast did not disappoint. Heather and Bob were extremely friendly, responsive, and made us feel right at home. Heather created 2 delightful, creative breakfasts which were absolutely delish! We splurged a bit booked a private chef for the Saturday night. Executive Chef Amanda plated an incredible 5 course meal which consisted of nothing but local ingredients so I highly recommend this option! The hot tub was quality and could be enjoyed at anytime as well. The location and view left us speechless. Try and make it there before dark as it can be a bit tricky finding at night :) Thanks Heather and Bob for an amazing experience. We WILL be back !! Peace, Ryan

All I can say is that if you need accommodation in Qualicum Beach, Karen’s Blue Bungalow is a must. It is easily one of the top AirBnBs I’ve ever stayed in, and that’s before considering the incredible value for money. It was beautiful and cosy, spotless, the amenities were everything we could have needed and more, and the overall experience was flawless. Karen is an incredibly responsive, warm, and flexible host. The breakfast each morning was perfect. She clearly enjoys hosting and cares about the guest’s experience - that much is evident in every detail. One of my most memorable B&B stays EVER. Thank you for everything Karen!

We had a brilliant stay! The view alone is nothing short of spectacular and you can watch otters, eagles and hummingbirds sitting on the decking. The apartment is gorgeous - we enjoyed sitting on the comfy armchairs just looking out over the bay, the fireplace made it feel super cosy in the mornings and evenings, the bathroom is really high end with a huge tub, powerful shower and topped off with underfloor heating - the WiFi is also rapid speed. Just when you think the view is good enough sitting on the decking, try watching it while sitting in the hot tub - bliss! Chris was a brilliant host; very responsive and makes an excellent scone delivered to our door each morning. We wouldn’t hesitate booking on our next trip to Ucluelet!

Nestled within a beautiful forest, Emma's suite was a great place to come back to after a busy day exploring the island. The suite is cozy, clean and well equipped. The hot tub and outdoor space steal the show as it looks into the woods and is so relaxing. We loved our stay and extended weekend away from the city.

Congxia is a very friendly host, she makes me feel at home. The room is clean and cozy. It is easy to go to different shops and restaurants. It is located in a quiet and beautiful area. I will definitely come back later.

Il posto è veramente immerso nella natura, isolato ma bellissimo, indimenticabile. L’appartamento è essenziale ma confortevole. Da tenere a mente che è su due livelli, la camera da letto e il bagno sono di due piani diversi. Mark un ospite molto attento, cordiale e premuroso. Un luogo dove si desidera tornare.

Beautiful room with a stunning view in a lovely area 😊 unfortunately we only stayed two short nights so we can't say anything about the whirlpool or kayaking. But it sure looked promising. We struggled a bit while arriving since our car couldn't drive up the driveway. So we had to carry our bags all the way and weren't really sure where to go at first. We had the room that was close to the bathrooms and the fridge, which was convenient. Unfortunately the fridge in the hallway disturbed the quiet and peace of the beautiful place during the day and the night. We could hear it in our room and had to use earplugs at night. Beth offered a solution but nothing long term, so if your are sensitive this could be an issue.
