Enjoy the lovely setting on Admiral Island . Walking/ riding bicycles safe. There are open public areas where you can sit on a bench on the water. Cottage is self catering has 2 separate bedrooms. If a couple book then one bedroom gets closed off. Contact host if you would like to use both rooms. Price is for a couple only. Secure parking. There is an area to braai but you have to bring your own braai. Owners live next door / Cottage completely private. Solar System ,Fibre Wifi + DSTV.

"The Tin Shack" is a beautiful container-built cabin situated on a hill behind the West Coast town of St Helena Bay. The cabin overlooks the entire bay with the majestic Cederberg mountains in the distance. It has two ensuite bedrooms with compost toilets, and a spacious open plan kitchen/living area with a cast iron woodburner fireplace which makes the cabin warm and cozy even in winter. This is by far one of the best places we have stayed. Such a hidden gem, so much attention to detail. All l can say is l definitely felt that there was a pinch of love in organising the space. Marlene is such a fantastic host, the place is fully equiped, and so peaceful. lrene her helper also loves her job, it was spotless. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you once again Marlene for allowing us to explore The Greenary.

Erna's listing of Heron's Place is an absolute must to try. Our stay was just too short. We arranged a boat cruise on the river and because of the private jetty, they were able to pick us up at our doorstep and drop us off there again. The area is beautifully quiet and on the river. I would recommend it.

The house is well equipped with high quality utensils. Everything you need is there, and easy to use. Bedding and bathrooms is super clean and of good quality, with plenty of towels. It is very private and well placed for boating activities or just relaxing at the water. Cant wait for our next visit.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! From the moment we arrived, Amarentia was incredibly warm, welcoming, and thoughtful — their hospitality really made a difference and added a personal touch to our trip. The town is a small, peaceful gem, perfect for unwinding and taking a break from the fast pace of the CBD. There’s something so refreshing about the slower rhythm and friendly local atmosphere. One of the highlights was definitely waking up to the stunning ocean view each morning — it was so calming and beautiful. We truly felt relaxed and recharged. Would definitely love to come back again!

Great view of the boats from the balcony, very tidy and luxurious apartment. Check-in was straight forward and Susan was very responsive and nice. One consideration is that the production of dried fish, bokkom, might smell sometimes if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction.

We had such a lovely stay in Laaiplek. Everything was clean & neat & all the necessary amenities were present. We kept on telling each other how nice the stoep is & that we could stay for much longer than we did. The braai area has the most amazing view and the sunset was just magnificent. If in Laaiplek, we will definitely be back, and would 10/10 recommend!
