Imagine yourself, nestled in an intimate cocoon, facing our green vineyards of the Nantes vineyard. Our furnished barrel offers all modern comforts, while preserving the authenticity and charm of an unusual accommodation.

Our cottage has been sympathetically renovated and is a uniquely individual space retaining a wealth of originality, blended perfectly with a contemporary feel. We can welcome 6, with two double bedrooms and a large double sofa-bed in the galleried landing area. A spacious living area leads to a quiet outdoor patio with rural views. The grounds the cottage are located in are surrounded by a large moat which contains unprotected deep water. Unsuitable for young unsupervised children.

In the grounds of a turreted 15th century château - featured in a number of homes & interiors magazines - this beautifully converted, spacious, former stables is set in glorious gardens with views over our 10-acre truffle orchard. Full of character and charm, thick local limestone stone walls keep the house cool in summer yet cosy during the colder, truffle-hunting months. The covered terrace is perfect for alfresco dining and has an uninterrupted view of the gardens.

After complete renovation, accommodation benefits from a 2-star classification granted by Charentes Tourisme. Apartment offered for seasonal rental, for a minimum period of 3 days to several weeks or months, with private parking. Located 50m from the port of Les Minimes, 200m from the beach. Served by bus, sea bus, Vélib station. Exceptional maritime environment, nearby shops, restaurants and brasseries, laundry, bakery, pharmacy. Supermarket open very late at night.

In the heart of the Poitevin marsh, on the immediate edge of the river, in a quiet area, the accommodation is ideally located to travel between Niort, the marsh, La Rochelle, Ile de Ré, Futuroscope, Vendée, Puy du Fou, Palmyre Zoo, Ile d'Oléron… Christelle and Jean-Michel, former boatmen guides, will be happy to introduce you to the marsh. You will have at your disposal, free of charge, a boat, a canoe and two bikes.

Great for quiet stays with family or friends, our accommodation is located 15 minutes from Puy du Fou to welcome you in the countryside in a village of 4 houses and 5 minutes from the Sèvre Nantaise to take nice walks on foot or by canoe. 1 hour drive, the sea, the Poitevin marsh and its Green Venice, the Doué-la-Fontaine Zoo, the troglodyte caves and the banks of the Loire allow you to discover the region. The indoor heated pool is at your disposal.
