Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ventura

My mom, sister and I stayed at Kelly's place while visiting family in Ventura. The house is absolutely beautiful and so comfortable. We took full advantage of the huge sunroom and enjoyed the evenings outside--which were the typical slightly chilly oceanside climate--with the easy-to-use gas firepit. The beds were super comfortable too. Kelly truly thought of everything. The bathrooms had extra hair-ties, tampons, and other things you always forget. The kitchen had plenty of salt and spices. Although we didn't use them, we were charmed by the beach bags ready to go with sunscreen and disposable beach slippers. And Kelly was immediately responsive when I couldn't locate the iron at first. We did have a worry that the listing was playing down the train that is very close to the house, but it goes by so fast, doesn't blow the horn, and doesn't run late at night, so it became honestly kind of an exciting and very charming part of the stay. I highly recommend Kelly's place!

Casey is an amazingly good business man! He was extremely communicative, professional, friendly, empathetic and responsive. Literally the ideal host. The location is wildly perfect for a recharging getaway that’s near strip malls. The home is very close to Ventura Rd. and near freeways so relatively quickly to get to destinations. Inside the home, the view over the city is spectacular. The place was roomy and relaxing. There is great space for entertaining and hanging with family. Casey made the stay nice. Would certainly recommend it for anyone considering a stay in LA.

The property was amazing and very accommodating for our adult son who is in a wheelchair. Other than navigating a few steps to get into the house everything was ADA friendly including a roll in accessible shower in the master suite. The grandkids loved the backyard with plenty to do. I had another fantastic stay at Kathy’s Airbnb! The drive along Corall Canyon offers stunning views of the ocean, Santa Monica, Palos Verdes, and Catalina Island. Kathy’s home features incredible sunrise views, with gentle morning fog below. The open layout connecting the bedroom, living room, kitchenette, and bathroom creates a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Kathy is a wonderful host, always responsive to my needs. If you’re seeking a serene getaway with gorgeous vistas and a lovely host, I highly recommend this place!

This home has so much character. The 70s-inspired design is super fun and unique, and the space was perfect for our group of five. It felt spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub setup really made the stay—it felt like our own private retreat. Plus, the neighborhood was quiet, safe, and peaceful, which made it easy to relax. Dicle was equally great. They shared thoughtful recommendations, were responsive whenever we had questions, and even had someone come out quickly when the hot tub wasn’t heating up properly. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience—everything was handled smoothly and with care. Would 100% stay here again. It’s a perfect spot for a chill, fun getaway with friends or family.

Tess’s home was beautiful! She was super communicative and responsive to our questions. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we’re in Ventura!

Wow, what an incredible two days! This unit truly exceeded my expectations. It had everything I needed and so much more. The beauty of the canyon left me in awe, and there was something magical about savoring breakfast while soaking in that breathtaking morning view. I felt completely at peace, especially since I didn’t come across anyone else during my stay—such a perfect sense of privacy! I can’t express how much I’d love to return and relive this wonderful experience. Thank you Mona and Daniel for everything!

Everything was perfect about this stay. House was better than described or shown. Much larger than I thought it would be. Perfect for our family as we celebrated my son’s graduation from UCLA. Deck is great. Watched dolphins back and forth all day long. Slept to the ocean waves.

I love this condo in Westwood -- I am a return customer. FABULOUS location in Westwood near everything and perfect for UCLA. It has parking (!!) and a pool and you can walk to campus, walk to Target (many time if you are helping a student move. Many, many times!) Lots of restaurants all over and Trader Joe's right downstairs. The place is lovely. Great kitchen and bathroom. Super clean and lots of fun.

As always when we've stayed before it was a marvelous experience, quiet, comfortable, & peaceful. The place was clean, prepared & well supplied for guests. We loved the closeness of the beach, however, the defining aspect for us is feeling relaxed & rejuvenated with each stay.

The apartment was clean and had a terrific view. We loved the neighborhood and walked by the ocean everyday.

My family and I had a great time staying here. The beach is only steps away and walkable to great shops and restaurants. We would be happy to come back again sometime!

We loved this place! It was easy to get to and a lot of things were near by in walking distance. The host sent very clear instructions and a lot of recommendations of places to go to. I hardly had to reach out to the host, but when I did there was fast response! We would 1000% stay here again!

Been coming back again and again. Just an awesome spot in Venice if your are alone or with a partner. I’ll be back

The house is located on the top of the hill and has great views. Location is super quiet and peaceful. Big house with a nice patio, backyard was very spacious and a perfect place to relax and chill. Tomer was very responsive and helpful. Will definitely stay again

Great place. Plenty of room for our family if 8. Loved the little extras ( snacks, laundry detergent, paper towels). Not far from all the tourist attractions. Community was very quiet.

Vanessa helped make our stay absolutely incredible and it was a once in a lifetime experience. She made us feel right at home with all the amenities taken care of, her stay was equipped with absolutely everything you can need for your stay; from cookware to snacks, even sunscreen because we definitely forgot to pack it. Leading up to the stay, Vanessa also kindly provided us lots of recommendations on what to do and what to see during our short stay. The purpose of our trip was for my brother-in-law to propose to his girlfriend and from the beginning to end of this plan, Vanessa and her assistants were there to help facilitate the process making everything truly so easy to coordinate. We’re so thankful for Vanessa and her team’s hospitality and I would strongly recommend Vanessa’s place in Malibu for everyone looking to visit.

All i can say is WOW! If you stay here, be prepared for this experience to spoil all other AirBnBs for you, because they will not be able to compare to how fantastic this is! Cynthia is a true professional, from above-and-beyond hospitality to an exquisite property down to the details - she needs a tv show! AirBNB is very lucky to even have someone this dedicated on this app. This properly is absolutely stunning- like something you would see in a magazine. My husband and I booked this on a trip for our first anniversary- and Cynthia went over the top, making us feel special for the weekend. We had massages on the property outside beside the tennis court (incredible), played private tennis, and even had smores by the firepit under the stars. We would come back just to stay here again! An absolute 10/10

We had a great stay at this house! Our three favorite parts - the awesome views (even better in person), the beautiful pool/hot tub (which was always very clean), and getting to love on Bella (their super sweet dog). Stephen communicates very well. They gave us all the privacy we needed. The house was a perfect size for our family (brought our two kids) and the extra long patio was great. A few areas in the house could use updates (example: the shower knobs are difficult to turn) but it was all clean, which I strongly appreciate. The views, pool, and Bella made our trip amazing for sure! Thank you Stephen and Pim.

This place is incredibly peaceful and serene—exactly what we needed. From the moment we arrived, we felt at ease. The home is beautifully maintained and full of calming energy. Susanna, our host, was absolutely wonderful—kind, responsive, and genuinely thoughtful. She made everything so easy, and it’s clear she takes great care in creating a warm and welcoming space. Wonderful location, wonderful property, beautiful home! There's a great view if you walk out all the way thru the back yard and my friends loved sitting in that spot at night. The listing did say it included oil for cooking (it didn't) so we had to doordash some for our planned meals. And same with bodywash that was missing. Otherwse, perfectly described.

Loved our stay! Tevis was very warm and helpful. We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and fire pit! It's a quiet beach that was never crowded and the airbnb was in a very safe community. Would love to go back!
