Port du Cap d’agde, Port du Sete, Port de Bouzigues, Port de Marseillan The close proximity of the canal du midi and l’herault to the chateau provides a tranquil place to enjoy a walk. Festival and Entertainment Lovers Very close lies the historic 17th century market town of Pezenas, where Moliere played for the Prince De Conti. It offers a multitude of events, expositions, concerns and plays. It is also well known for its antique shops and markets. Only 25 minutes away is Montpellier nicknamed ‘la surdouee’ the gifted. It is a vibrant town with numerous walks, old town and an abundance of festivals. Sete and it’s famous theater also offers events all year long. Food and Drink Lovers The region offers many interesting regional products for your tasting pleasure. Discover the ‘figues becos’ a type of fig from Nezignan Leveque, Le Petit pate de Pezenas. Fish and seafood and of course wine as the region is the single biggest wine producing region in the world. We have selected a range of regional produce from the surrounding villages, (no more than 7km from the chateau) which you can purchase in the chateau’s little shop. Le salagou / sauna

A 2km du lac du Salagou, au centre du petit hameau le Mas Audran, maison en pierres de pays récemment rénovée. Hameau paisible sans voiture en flanc de montagne protégé du vent du nord d'ou son micro climat au milieu des agaves et orangers, vous pourrez partir au lac à pieds en 15 min par la route ou bien par un sentier pour rejoindre la côte sauvage du Lac du Salagou. La ruffe, (sable rouge) paysages typique du Salagou vous émerveillera en toutes saisons.

Old Farmhouse with pool & garden

This farmhouse from 1610, 1 minute away from Sommières by car. You will be in a peaceful setting with no street noise and a 9x4m pool to cool yourself on hot summer days. The garden goes down to the river where one can go fishing. From certain spots you can see the Chapelle Saint Julien from the XIth century as well as the château de Sommières. There is a brasero and a pizza oven outside to enjoy time together outside.
