Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Villeneuve-de-Berg

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

We had a pleasant stay, the accommodation is exactly as described in the photos and it is very quiet. Géraldine gave us the good addresses to discover, eat etc... We will come back!

We were guests with 6 adults and 3 toddlers between 18 months and 4 years. The house offers everything your heart desires. From a well-equipped kitchen with more than enough dishes and cutlery, to dining areas inside and outside the house, a cozy lounge area, a great pool with plenty of loungers, a large outdoor area with play facilities incl. Table tennis table and trampoline were all there. The kids had at least as much fun as we did. We would come back anytime😊. A visit to Goudargues is highly recommended. There is a market there on Wednesday.

We just spent 15 days and the good weather was at the rendezvous, for those looking for calm and tranquility is the ideal place! Christine and Philippe are welcoming, warm, available and concerned for the well-being of their guests. They were good tips for sites to visit, both in the Gard and in the Ardèche which is barely 10 km away Many places to visit including the Pont du Gard, the Pont d 'Arc and the Ardèche gorges by canoe, the Aven Orgnac cave, the Sautadet waterfalls, the Nîmes bullring....) The house is well equipped and local shops are in Barjac 3km away We had a great time!

House full of charm where we had a great time as a family! Preserved setting, well-equipped accommodation with a certain character and very pleasant exteriors. No worries and the hosts were available. I recommend it!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house. We stayed for a month (workation) and it was no problem to work from here. It’s even more beautiful than the pictures show! Thanks for the great time!

This old converted water mill makes a lovely family house, perfect for all generations. It is isolated (no need to worry about children screaming in the swimming pool) and surrounded by beautiful countryside, with signed hiking trails in all directions. You can walk to the very attractive village of Lussan for an ice cream or drink, (but any sort of food shopping does mean a car journey.) Our group comprised grandparents, parents and three children (aged 3 to 8). The children loved the pool, the trampoline and the bikes. The adults enjoyed boules and molkii. (There's also table tennis and lots of board games.) Vincent, the owner, lives close by and we were amazed at how quickly and efficiently he came round to deal with any little problems.

We had a pleasant family stay at Philippe's house. The environment is very peaceful and pleasant. The equipment in the house is perfect, nothing is missing. The pool is lovely. A big thank you to Philippe for the communication during our arrival and during the stay. Thank you for all the tips for visits near Meyras. It's a place I recommend for a quiet stay with friends and family. We'll be there again. Catherine

Shirley's apartment was perfect for the four of us with a dog to enjoy the fantastic Labeaume and the great area for a week. The attractively and practically furnished apartment and especially the terrace were even a little more spacious than expected and pleasantly bright through the window front and skylight. For us it was no problem, but less mobile or particularly noise-sensitive people should note that the apartment is located at the back of the village square with a (very cozy) bar and is accessible on the second floor via two external stairs. Shirley was a perfect host, she was always helpful, flexible and easy to reach when needed. 100% recommendation!

Very nice large house with some stylish treasures and 3 electric fans to combat the summer heat! We'd love to come back to this very quiet, spacious accommodation!

Annick is a very kind and generous host. You feel right at home in the authentic french farmhouse. Annick kindly shared some of her home grown cherries and apricots which were delicious. The pool was fantastic with beautiful views across lavender and vineyards. Would highly recommend you experience a stay in this lovely accommodation

A magical place. Total change of scenery, everything is there for you to spend unique moments. Françoise is very welcoming, took her time to help us settle in and to show us around this beautiful place. A big thank you, we are delighted.

Charming cozy cottage tastefully furnished, very well equipped, impeccable cleanliness, comfortable bedding. Perfect set-up for couple. The hosts are warm, the hospitality and responsiveness are impeccable and good recommendations. Very well located, it is both easy to reach Bagnols for shops while being surrounded by nature with lots of possible hikes nearby and beautiful sites to visit. Big plus for the stove with the wood provided, the flames are comforting in the cold season. We had a great time between beautiful hikes and rest by the fire.

a beautiful house in a beautiful environment. a splendid view of the valley. in a quiet place, and far from everything. we were there to ride a bike with one foot on the ground. Via Rhona is 30 minutes by bike. but the region is fantastic for this activity. a beautiful pool in a beautiful setting. a beautiful, clean, modern house with everything you need. 3 beautiful bedrooms + a room that serves as a bedroom with a sofa bed with a very good mattress. The only downside is that there is no shed or garage available to store bikes and accessories.

The accommodation was beautiful and very nicely decorated. The setting was very pleasant. The contact was very easy, Céline was very accommodating to welcome us. I would highly recommend it!

Fab place, great social spaces for our group. The location was gorgeous. Lisa was very accommodating and let us check in two hours early and communicated well throughout. We all enjoyed our stay at the house and thought it was very reasonably priced. The parking area is very tight behind the gate if you’re driving a large people carrier, so takes a little while to park, but still serves its function well. A neighbour dealt with us during our stay - only speaks French - so good to keep this in mind if you don’t have a member / speak French yourself. Luckily one of our party spoke French, so it was fine. The neighbour wasn’t very warm but definitely didn’t take away from a beautiful place in a gorgeous village and a great stay. It was clean, the pool and games were fab, and the BBQ was brilliant. Definitely recommend the local cafe / pub for drinks in the evening too, it’s gorgeous!

Very nice place countryside, very refreshing and not isolated, the warm welcome and everything it needed to be at home, comfortable house and very pleasant to live in, the owner next door ,really adorable and very cool , congratulations to Christophe we will surely come back!

We spent a few wonderful days with our children and grandchildren, everything is perfect, with a lot of varied play equipment, a super nice pool and air conditioning!!! We totally recommend it, you can go there with your eyes closed.
