Holiday rentals with lake access in Virginia

Connie’s place was great! Looked just like the photos. The house was clean and in a great area. Nice and friendly neighbors. We enjoyed the community beaches that are super close, clean and dog friendly. It was a prefect weekend trip. We would book here again!

The property was lovely and had the most beautiful views. I first thought it was too small, but it was perfect! Stacia and her team were so responsive, and the property was super clean. We spent most of our time on the dock or deck, enjoying the view and the wild life. The kitchen had great space for meals and everything we needed. The basement was perfect for playing cards, and the pac man game was my sister’s favorite! What a great place on the lake!

We had such a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The layout was perfect for spending quality time together while still giving everyone space to unwind. Private beach access made it even more special—we made great memories, met some lovely neighbors, and even had a chance to paddle board and spot a stingray! Huge shout-out to Leigh, our amazing host—so thoughtful, responsive, and kind. We’re so grateful for the experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had the nicest time at Quiet Cove. Wendy has everything set up nicely in the home. Very clean and the coffee station/s’more fixings were a sweet treat! The kitchen is well stocked and very accommodating to cook. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the screened in porch looking at the lake. Rented a boat, so the kids could tube. Got ice cream from Moo Thru (delicious) per Wendy recommendation and had s’mores by the fire. The next day we relaxed around the house enjoying the kayak and floats in the water. Crabs on the deck for dinner. Wendy has it set up so well for guest. Wonderful trip to beautiful Lake Anna.

We traveled from Wisconsin for a wedding. The venue was 5 minutes from here which was so nice. The house was big with space for all 6 of us, the outdoors had a beautiful space and we enjoyed fishing at the pond. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The bathrooms were really nice and updated. The location was close enough to other cities if we needed additional amenities. We had a wonderful time and if we find ourselves back in Virginia we will stay here again!

We had a wonderful 4 day stay at Dannie & Nancy's home. We are a family of 6: dad, mom, and 4 boys ages 3- 17. What we enjoyed most was how peaceful and remote the setting was. We saw a couple boats go by each day, but other than that and some wildlife (deer, various birds, and a baby bear were spotted!) we were totally alone. What sold us on this home vs. the others is the use of the canoe, kayas, paddle board and peddle boat plus all the various sizes of lifejackets. This made it so much fun for each person in our family to get out and enjoy the lake. I enjoyed paddling the kayak for exercise and enjoyment, and my husband and sons took various boats out to fish. They caught white bass, blue catfish (one pretty large), lots of bluegill, a shad, white perch, and several channel catfish. We really enjoyed being right near the water. We also made use of the firepit each night. Dannie & Nancy were always available when we had questions.

Our family had beautiful weather on our vacation! Everything was as described, Mary & Shelly thought of everything. We would highly recommend.

Great house in the best part of the Lake. The house has everything you need and want and even what you didn’t know you ever needed or wanted for an amazing time at the lake. No idea how I can rent any other property ever again after staying at Matt’s place. Wish I could give it a 1 star so no one would ever rent this house and it’d always be available for my family and friends 😀. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

We stayed 3 nights at Stonewall Manor and it was perfect while we were visiting family in the area. We loved the serenity and openness of the property and enjoyed the horses as well. Our dog Alfred loved being able to run in the large front yard. Our host Tina was friendly and quick to respond from the booking process to checking out. We would definitely stay here again.

Irene is amazing and so is her home on Lake Anna! Great space with privacy and access to lake and amenities. Irene went above and beyond - even coming to pick us up from dinner when our Uber cancelled on us. Such a great experience and highly recommended staying here!

An amazing relaxing and secluded spot. Great if you like fishing they also have a dock to dock your boat. best of all was Mickey his wife and Miss Lily. Wonderful people and a wonderful environment that they have provided.

Staying with Mr Jane was a pleasure. The location was perfect, the apartment was cozy and spotless. The place was well-equipped and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. This is a peaceful downstairs apartment with private entry and beautiful backyard with swimming pool. Mrs Jane was always available to answer our questions. unforgettable experience! Highly recommended!" 

We love Peggy’s place. The view is wonderful, and everything well apportioned. This is our second stay and would gladly visit again.

Easy to find, easy to check in. It was SO peaceful as if you had the whole place to yourself. It was wheel chair accessible. Had a full kitchen with all the stuff we needed to cook full meals. It was super clean all around . The dock area is wonderful and was peaceful to sit by the water. It’s not often you have access to 12 acres on the lake. No complaints. We would for sure stay here again.

Mariann was great, super nice. The place was really cute! Had everything you needed and more.. the bed was really comfy! My husband & I go away on a motorcycle, this time we were stuck in rain a few nights, so it was awesome having a washer & dryer right there as well! They have a nice little deck, was nice chilln out there in the am figuring on the days plan, or the rainy nights♡ A little recommendation Sur 81, breakfast and or dinner, you won't be disappointed! (we hit them up 3x's) Sisters Cafe & Gifts another great place! Mi Puerto also very good!

This has just been a perfect stay for us and our 21-month old! It’s a beautiful apartment, clean and modern, and with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable vacation in Fredericksburg. Qasim is super friendly and responds literally within minutes. Would 100% stay here again.

Loved our stay on Kerr Lake! Cute house on a quiet road and quiet cove. We brought our own kayaks and it was easy to put them in from the shore and store them close to our dock. Enjoyed the basket of snacks, shower amenities, and the view from the deck and gazebo!

This was our second stay at this location. The house is on a fairly busy street but tucked away perfectly once you arrive you’d never know it. Steps from the beach and easy to come and go many times a day not feeling tacked down to lug everything you need once. Safe for kids coming and going. Best times for us were sunrise and sunsets.. amazing. Finding crabs, building sand structures and building memories. The front porch is perfection and the whole family could hang out there all day. Beautiful yard I felt safe allowing the dogs to be free. The beach is not crowded. Not far from stores and places to get fresh seafood etc. we’d recommend this place to anyone.

We had an amazing time at Taby’s place. She was a great host. The cottage is pretty. The swimming pool was nice respite in the scorching sun of June. Taby was extremely friendly and also helped us with the local recommendations.

We loved our stay at The Cottage! The home is rich with history, is so charming, inviting and so relaxing. The bikes and kayaks are a huge plus! Everything was great! We hope to return later in the year! Highly recommend!

The house and location was absolutely stunning! I loved the open air feel, the tub (omg the nicest!) the backyard was amazing. We had my grandchildren over several times and they loved playing in the backyards little stream. I loved being able to sit everyone down to eat at the gorgeous outdoor table! Which I’m highly jealous of. Haha I would recommend to anyone and hope to return, we would’ve stayed longer but she already had a weekend booking! Did not disappoint!

It’s a really great stay! I was only there for two days but it’s a great small getaway. Well worth it for the price!

This was a beautiful location to stop on our way from FL to NY. The house was very clean and comfortable and the property was absolutely gorgeous!

This was the third year in a row that we’ve stayed here - one renting from the previous owner and two from Sherri. We love it here. It’s great for two folks. The previous two times we had our early-teen granddaughter with us. Three folks is just a slight amount less spacious tha it was with two this year. Three was certainly doable though and not really inconvenient.
