The tower is completely self-contained and its pretty, covered balcony offers breathtaking views over the château's truffle orchard. Internally it is full of character with a circular, beamed bedroom and roll top bath on the top floor and a sitting room below. There is no formal kitchen so this is a place for foodies wanting to experience local French food by eating out

This 70 m2 cottage with a very nice garden is next to that of the owners. It is located 10 minutes from the train station and 15 minutes from the historic center of Saumur. You can visit the castle, the Armored Vehicle Museum, the Cadre Noir de Saumur, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, vintage bicycles, the Loire wine cellars, etc. Bed and house linens are not provided.
