Exceptionally nice and beautiful views of the valley and Lagarfljot. Birdsong, tranquility, romance and coziness. Flora is a ground floor with a sleeping loft. Downstairs there is an entrance, living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. There are 2 beds in the loft. All beds are new with good quality. Steep stairs up to the sleeping loft. Household appliances are both modern and old-fashioned. On the terrace there are chairs and tables.

We live about 400 m distance from Ásinn. Fully equipped kitchen, small sitting room, spacious bathroom (washing machine and dryer), 4 bedrooms. Good looking view, cairns, bird live, streams, family-friendly environment in peaceful nature.

It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.

Summer 2026: As our house is old we are constantly doing maintenance. This summer the maintenance has affected the garden so we are sorry to inform that it is not in perfect shape. Our home is old and quite small but very cozy. It is located by the seaside in our small village with a view over the fjord; the sea and the mountains. Please note our village is a bit out of the way of the Ring Road.
