Tineke's place in Tzummarum was a nice place to stay with our family. We have enjoyed the spacious house that is equipped with all comforts. The bakery and cafeteria around the corner are ideal.

We stayed there with our family from Canada, 8 adults. This was a great place to explore the province of Friesland. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely yard to relax in. Wonderful neighbourhood and easy walk to get groceries. The only negative was that one shower and one toilet weren't optimum for 8 people. required some planning.

We had a wonderful stay in Dronrijp. The house is very comfortable for 8 guests. The kitchen is well equipped. We would have loved to take advantage of the outside terraces, but the weather didn't cooperate. Great location for participating in the Fiets Elfstedentocht. What a lovely cottage! Upon arrival, we found a warm welcome message. The cottage is equipped with every comfort, nothing is missing. There was a large garden with a lot of privacy. There are many nice pictures to be found in the area. In short, it is highly recommended!

Already when booking we got clear information about our stay. Upon arrival we were extremely warmly welcomed by the hostess. The spacious room is equipped with a comfy bed, a table and a pretty well equipped kitchen. The bathroom and the rest of the building are spotlessly clean. There are more than enough towels available. In short, an absolute recommendation for those looking for a central but quiet base to explore the Wadden coast and the Frisian cities.

We were three next in the beautiful farmhouse. With a small child and 5 adults, we had plenty of space. The garden is huge and there are several options for sitting. We were also offered a barbecue. Host was always reachable. We can highly recommend the accommodation, because it was also super equipped.

Petra is a very nice and accommodating host. Everything matched the descriptions. She couldn't help the very mixed weather. Nevertheless, guests who arrive with bicycles and possibly with a child trailer should know that there is no storage space. Otherwise, everything was really great!

We stayed in the apartment for two nights for the second time. The apartment is super clean and very lovingly furnished. You have everything you need. Turn on the oven in the evening, no problem. Coffee, tea, two bottles of juice and a bottle of water are available. Cleaning agents, vacuum cleaners, etc., all available. We were completely satisfied. We booked the apartment because of the participation in the Fiets-Elfstedendocht.

Ellen and Jaap were lovely hosts, we had an incredible stay at their place! It was so creatively and artistically decorated, and I have never slept better at an Airbnb — the beds were so comfortable, and the neighborhood was so peaceful. It was awesome to have a sweet dog and cat roaming around to make us animal-lovers feel right at home :) 5/5 stars on all levels!

What a nice stay we had! Super friendly people. Beautiful place and very central location. We were with 2 young children and this was very easy to do! Certainly subject to repetition! Who knows, maybe next year!😉

We had a wonderful weekend at Anna's house. The communication was perfect, the location super and the house fantastic. Everything was sparkling clean and equipped with every comfort. In addition, Anna and her husband are very friendly and flexible. Recommended to get to know Leeuwarden and its surroundings well.

Great books available, inspiring. And the choice of music is also interesting and original. The house has everything you need, well maintained, but not superfluous or confusingly large. Atmospherically decorated, candles and beautiful light. It is as neat as if it were a private household. We are fans of the island cottage!

Great place to stay, nice beds and furniture, fully equipped kitchen. Jan was very helpful and responsive. Only thing to take into account is payed parking in Harlingen (€10 for a day pass on nearby parking lot)

The only issue is that the ceiling in the upstairs loft is 190cm so if you're tall this cute cottage isn't probably ideal.

The place was/is very lovingly decorated. The surrounding area as well! It is a very functional place to stay and my personal taste is small and cozy. Yfke was present and accommodating when needed. She just has a knack for creating a nice and friendly atmosphere. All in all, recommended if you want to treat yourself.

Stay is in a good location to the city center of Leeuwarden. Museums, restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Well cared for stay. Good communication. Nice detail: the photo wall with what the street used to look like. Tip: the Miniature People hiking trail!

We had a great time. On the weekend it was sometimes very loud, because in the parking lot opposite many tuners met. During the week it was super quiet and we would love to come back
