Farmhouse Okkingastate

Even helemaal er tussen uit? Dat kan op onze 200 jaar oude boerderij dichtbij de Waddenkust (Unesco WereldErfgoed) en de steden Leeuwarden, Harlingen en Franeker. Het Voorhuis van de boerderij is omgebouwd tot een royaal gastenverblijf met uitzicht over de tuin, weilanden. We hebben een biologisch melkveebedrijf en werken zoveel mogelijk met de natuur mee. Kom je bij ons overnachten dan kun je het boerenleven, de Waddenkust en Friesland, helemaal in je eigen ritme, ontdekken en beleven. Welkom!

Woning in Sint Jacobiparochie

Ruim opgezette woning. Door onder andere een elektrische buitendeur, brede schuifdeuren, alles drempelvrij en volledig op de begane grond ook rolstoelvriendelijk. De woning is voorzien van twee sta op stoelen die voor iedereen comfortabel zitten. Slaapkamer 1 heeft een tweepersoons elektrisch bed, de 2e slaapkamer is voorzien van een bed van 120 x 200 en een hoog-laag bed. Bereikbaar via eigen ingang, eigen terras en tuin. Dichtbij de Waddenzee en mooie uitvalbasis om de regio te verkennen.

Tiny Farm House met hot tub.

Tussen de groene vlaktes van het Friesche Menaldum vindt u de uniek gebouwde Tiny Farm House met veranda inclusief hot tub. Deze grenst aan een traditionele kop hals romp boerderij uit 1880. Sinds 1980 runt boer Folkert de melkveehouderij waar 110 koeien gemelkt worden. Kom tot rust in de hot tub of neem een duik in de zwemvijver nabij. Ga met de veerboot een dag naar Terschelling of Vlieland. Breng een bezoek aan de hoofdstad Leeuwarden of stap op de fiets en verken de omgeving.

Lyts Kastieltsje, a quiet cottage in an orchard

Lyts Kastieltsje is a short walk from the Waddenzee, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the largest tidal area on Earth. The cottage was once part of the cooling barn for the old fruit farm. It is surrounded by just over a hectare of gardens, orchards and meadow which provide a home for our three sheep, bees and many species of birds. The orchards contain plum, quince, medlar and different varieties of apple and pear trees. We also share the place our dog Jack, 10 ducks and some chickens.

"De Mooie Liefde" Tiny house in Friesland.

Our "Beautiful Love" used to be the horse stable belonging to the centuries-old farm in which we live. In 2020, we transformed it together with a lot of love and passion into a tiny house with an old lived-in look. The green staircase leads upstairs to the beautiful loft with a 180x200 bed, with a double mattress and a double sheep wool duvet. Under the loft, you will find the beautiful bathroom and kitchen.
