This detached, traditional farmhouse is full of old world charm with stone flagged floors, exposed beams, wood panelled walls and studded oak doors. There are three reception rooms, two with wood burners and two kitchens with granite work surfaces. Five very comfortable bedrooms await you with old oak floors and beams and a 6th mezzanine bedroom. A large master bedroom has a modern ensuite. There’s a lovely family bathroom with a shower and roll-top bath upstairs and a wet room downstairs.

Relax at this peaceful place to stay in the Western Lake District. There are plenty of lovely walks from the doorstep. The King George pub is only a minute walk away, serving lovely home cooked food and real ale. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, known locally as “La’al Ratty” is only a ten minute walk from the cottage. Eskdale Stores is open daily. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.

Lovely little 2 bed house, situated in a rural setting with a beach just 5 minutes away. just to note upon approaching the house you do have to go through a very tight bridge and along a narrow road which is overgrown. The house is perfectly situated to be able to explore a lot of the Lake District. Great Value, would recommend.

The cabin was cosy, homely and had everything we needed. The garden soace caught the sun just perfectly in the evenings. Ravenglass was so so peaceful! Lovely pubs and easy walks around the estuary. Local attractions like the steam railway, Roman ruins and Muncaster Castle are well worth checking out!

Had a fantastic long weekend here with the wife and dog. Location is far enough away to relax in the quiet, but within a reasonable drive of the main spots in the Lake District. Cottage is lovely and the enclosed garden was appreciated by our nervous dog. Emiko was a great host, and we appreciated everything that had been prepared for us. Would definitely look to stay again in the future!

Amazing location with easy access to the beach and nearby lakes. The garden, outdoor amenities, indoor games, and the house itself all exceeded our expectations. It looked exactly like the photos—if not even better in person—so you know you're getting exactly what’s shown. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back. A big thank you to the hosts for making everything so seamless and enjoyable!

Absolutely beautiful house. The views are so dreamy , it’s so mesmerising watching the tides come in and out .The house is full of windows of the stunning view. Then coastal walks right outside the house. Great location with 3 pubs on the doorstep and Scarfel Pike only 30 mins away. The instructions and communication are 100 percent. The house is so clean ,warm and cosy. We enjoyed lighting the fire in the evening and playing cards. 5 adults and plenty of space. We will definitely be back.

A really lovely little house. Very comfy and very cosy, with everything you could need. It’s in a lovely part of the Lake District, close to the hills and the coast. The amenities were great with a well stocked kitchen for cooking. Irton Hall, where the property is located, is a lovely little place with a private feeling.
