Holiday rentals with beach access in Waiheke Island

A stunning location literally across the road from Palm Beach. Well equipped and thoughtful touches with lush gardens and Lyndal was an excellent host. We so appreciated the early check in and extended check out so we could enjoy the sunny day. Would highly recommend and hope we can come back.

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit is situated in a very quiet suburb with beautiful morning sunshine and seaviews. It was very clean and comfortable...my very tall husband appreciated the extra height of the shower too! Sheryll was a thoughtful host who went above and beyond to make our stay a special one. Would happily stay again and highly recommend.

** Christmas break ** 23/12/24 - 26/12/24) Family of 6 (2 Adults, 3 teens & a toddler) This self-contained apartment exceeded our expectations with its comfort, cleanliness, and spaciousness. We were delighted to cancel our restaurant reservations and cook a Christmas dinner in, taking advantage of the stunning views from the living room, dining room, and bedroom. The apartment's location is perfect, with Too Fat Buns and Ocean View Cafe right downstairs, a Four Square across the road, and numerous restaurants within a 1-2 minute walk. Big Oneroa beach is just a 10-minute walk away, and the absence of a car is no issue with buses readily available to and from the ferry terminals. Thank you so much for creating an unforgettable lifetime experience for my family, our first Christmas away from home. We had a fabulous time at Paula's apartment. It was very clean and in a great location with the supermarket, cafes and restaurants very close by. Paula was a very friendly and attentive host. We would love to stay with her again . Thank you for a great weekend, Paula.

We absolutely loved our stay at No. 9 The Sands in Onetangi. The unit has everything that you'd want or need for a relaxing stay. The bed was super comfortable; the lounge was also gorgeous with a lovely view of the beach. We took advantage of the smart tv to watch a couple of movies via our apple app. If like us, you're a bit frazzled and want a place to unwind away from Oneroa, this place is perfect. Onetangi isn't so isolated that it doesn't have options for eating out or coffee, but it is very peaceful. Also, highly, highly recommend lunch at Casita Miro and a visit to Heke Brewery, both of which are close by.

We had a lovely Easter break at Pauline’s Airbnb. Loved the location - quick to walk to local beaches & the village. Easy public transport to visit other spots on the island and to get to/ from the ferry. We appreciated the chocolate, breakfast cereals, and fresh OJ! Lovely outdoor area too.

Great location with a lovely view! The space was small but cozy—perfect for a comfortable stay. It was especially convenient having a washer and dryer on-site. Just a short walk to the bus stop, which made getting around super easy. Nickie was very responsive and ready to help.

The house was absolutely stunning and Rick was a great host, with added touches to make the stay more memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it’s in a beautiful location and the house itself has all the right amenities. It was a very luxurious stay indeed!

The place was beautiful as described. The walk up is a bit steep if you’re not used to hills but the view made it worth it! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo was spacious and well equipped for a longer stay as well.

Tracey's home in Onetangi was perfect for our beach holiday in Waiheke. The beds are very comfortable and feature nice linens and pillows. The bathroom is spacious and has both a large soaking tub and a big shower, all modern and clean. The kitchen is well-equipped, plus there's a gas grill on the adjoining patio, so we cooked at home every day. The view is breathtaking, and the native songbirds provide beautiful background music from dawn to dusk. Stargazing from the deck is phenomenal on a cloudless night. Onetangi Beach is a pleasant 15 minute walk (or 5 minute car ride) away. We very much appreciated the hot tub and sauna when it got a bit chilly at the beach. This is a very special place - thank you so much for letting us stay here!

A lovely time in Palm Beach - beautiful views from the house and a spacious area to relax as a group

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The home is nestled in the lap of nature, with breathtaking surroundings that make you feel on top of the world. The kids loved the open space, and the stargazing at night was magical. A truly memorable experience, made even better by a lovely and welcoming host. Highly recommend!

Steve’s place suited our family really well. We enjoyed the well equiped kitchen and very comfortable beds. We loved that the village shops and beach were in easy walking distance from the house. Very cute garden which was enjoyed by our toddler. Steve responded to our messages promptly and was very accommodating. Thanks Steve for allowing us to check in early.

We had booked the day of and had been replied to within half an hour by Brent. We felt very much at home the moment we walked in the door, the house was very comfortable for our 2 night stay. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking at staying out in maraetai

One of the best airbnbs I’ve stayed at , honestly felt like I was at home but on a vacation at the same time HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone who wants a little getaway. Absolutely awesome place which was comfortable with plenty of space & everything we needed for our stay. Enjoyed the recreation room & nice sunny back yard to relax in with lovely bird life. Fabulously close walking distance to beach where we enjoyed a nice stroll. Highly recommended

Great little hideaway in a lovely suburb. Cute little flat tucked st rhe end of a long driveway. Easy parking. Super quiet and safe neighbourhood. Felt right at home. Host was very friendly and easy to deal with.

We really enjoyed our stay at Irene’s. It was great to be so close to the beach and there were lots of shops and cafes within walking distance. It’s a scenic 20 minute drive to Snow Planet is that is part of your holiday plans. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay a pleasure. Irene was so friendly, helpful and caring. We would definitely stay again.

Pia’s place is incredible! Had a wonderful 10 days there. We really enjoyed the location on the beach, all the amenities in the hime and the beautiful sunrise views from the wall of windows. One of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed. Pia was amazing to work with - very responsive and attentive. Could not have asked for a better stay in New Zealand!

Repeat Customer This is just a very special place. We have stayed here multiple times. It feels like our home away from home. It’s just very unique to be in a very private building right in the middle of a fantastic beach town on what is probably the best urban beach in New Zealand. You will love it!
